Caz the little girl that was hatched in the oven is now laying eggs, just started about a week ago the eggs are very small about an inch long, the hen stands about 8 inches high( I think), she is a beautiful golden colour and very cheeky as are her sisters. They follow me everywhere when let out in the yard, have to be careful as plenty of hawks and eagles around so they have to be watched when out and about.

Mary I am also excited to hear about the dogs, looking forward to future reports.

Mary how fantastic you have the dogs at last, I enjoyed reading about Gareths melt down and Dudleys response. How do your own dogs get on with them?
Hazel I was so sorry to read of your daughters stroke, but glad she is improving, hope it continues.

Just update had letter from the police they are dealing with it and it takes 16 weeks ,and another 8weeks if they cant find any information and Jan said i dont care either way ,im not paying anything it has nothing to do with us,so when time comes will let you all know the out come

Sandy and Dudley, our 2 Autism service dogs, have arrived. Wonderful personalities, Sandy is very laid-back, Dudley is a leader. He walked to school with Gareth this morning, Gareth had 2 melt-downs en-route, Dudley just stood over him calmly and Gareth just got over it and stood up. Nothing short of a miracle that is, a meltdown that lasts less then 20 minutes!!
Busy week, I'll pop in when I can. Thank you SO much for all your support, I could not have made it on my own.

Just afew words i would like to thank all the friends who help me in the last week or so,wont say anymore as the lady in question will post herself later on,but my friends when needed you were there and some i had not known before ,so thank you this has put asmile back on very dear friend of ours,so no more to say now except thank you ,from me and Y/Caz

Hi Ben, hope the funeral isn't too sad and you can all find happy memories of your friend, may he rest in peace now, free from pain and suffering poor chap. He should have had so many more years ahead of him.

I hope you enjoy spending time with your ex colleagues too altho isn't is a shame that it's usually things like funerals that bring people back together.

Hazel, your daughter is the same age as my son will be soon, I do hope she makes a full recovery in time and they can find out what happened and why and do something to stop it happening again. My o.h. has to take soluble aspirin all the rest of his life as he had a bleed on the brain, had he not gone to the doc when I pushed him because of some strange symptoms, he too could have had a stroke and being older and not so healthy might not have had a good recovery. You must have been very frightened for your daughter but I hope all will be ok in the future.

Colin, I take the probiotic drinks or yogours most of the time, I know when I had antibiotics when a puppy bit me recently I started to get thrush inside my mouth, so I took more of the probiotic stuff than usual to help me fight back.

Carole, sorry I have not been in touch, so much going on that I got very down over it, o.h.'s family are such a pain, all sorts of hiccups over the wedding and people getting frosty with each other, if it all comes off without major fallouts (not by me) I will be surprised.

Must catch up with some emails, so take care all of you,

Haven't seen our Betty here lately, hope she, Eileen, and all those not around much, are fine.

Hope Mary and family are enjoying learning to have Sandy and Dudley as part of the family and things will go well.

Hazel I was so sorry to see your daughter had had a stroke. I wish her a full recovery. At her age there is a good chance she will recover.

Ben, sad to have to go to a funeral of a friend, I hope all goes ok.

I am off to a funeral tomorrow of that friend who I mentioned on here who fell ill with throat cancer just before Christmas. He died on the 26th May aged 65. I shall be catching up with some old workmates there as well.

Hello Hazel, can I also say I hope your daughter continues to improve. 28 is very young for a stroke, but not impossibly so. A friend's little boy had one at 5. Obviously, the weakness was there from birth. He has made a marvellous recovery but still has some deficits.
Deanna, I get excited when typing and miss out important words. I have just re read my message and see the confusion. I was saying hello to Stephen then went straight on to talk about yoghurt without using the very important word Deanna,,, I think the problem with a lot of drugs is that they kill a lot of good bacteria, and upset the body chemistry so that it is to acid or not acid enough.
The cure is not as bad as the disease, but still has an unpleasant side to it.
What part of you is bionic? Are you a six million pound (plus inflation) woman? And if so, why would you want anti-bionics?

Hi to Joan, you are welcome any time. Although this is a support thread it has also become about friendship and extended ciber family. Which is also helpful for those of us who are a bit isolated, at time a lifeline for me and the friendships I have made are invaluable. Also a way of sharing a part of our daily lives.

Well today (as my MIL would say) I gave the kitchen a good bottoming, for those of us who do not have Yorkie rellies, a good cleaning. Just have to wash the floors now. That is an exercise in itself, I have to break it up in portions of bathroom first, then 1/3 kitchen and so on, should be finished by the time OH gets home, and cooking dinner/tea in between, luckily OH did the vaccy (hovered) work before he went to work. Very slow process I must say, my steam mop is a blessing and it does get done much quicker, I am the slow one. I am thankful that I can manage to still do it, though extra pain killers are required to get through.

While doing the big lounge room clean I found 3 large holes in the wall, that OH had managed to put there from his recliner chair, at least now it has gotten through to him to pull the chair from the wall. I managed to do the repair and it is now waiting to be touched up with paint, luckily I have some leftover for repairs. Have been waiting to have our windows cleaned, but we have had some lovely rain so windows can wait.

Winter here today officially, not all of the trees have lost their leaves, so a bit odd but it has not been that cold yet, some frosts but not many. I also have a daffodil that is flowering.

Grandson will be two in a months time and I am wondering where the time has gone. So we are planning a trip to the zoo for him as he loves animals so much. His first clear word spoken was kangaroo, must say he picked a hard one there. He is a child that does not say much, but when he does it is always something difficult. For a while I was concerned for him not talking, but he does not say anything until he actually has something to say. That is so different for me as always had chatter boxes, though mostly it was inane chatter. So granny does not need to worry now.

Well back to the cleaning grindstone, would rather be looking for ancestors though, and I am sure they would not be worried about my dust and dirt.

Some of you know that my daugther Teri has some kind of stroke and is having tests to find out what and why it happen.

She can now feel most of her body now,also face has gone back to normal and can talk again.

Its her right leg thats taking its time to come back.Its just from knee down now,got the feeling coming back in her toes today.

But she has to have someone with her 24/7 as it can happen again anytime.She is only 28.

Hi Sidneybloke...we do have a few men who come on here regularly but we (women and men) have all been absent a lot lately. our good times don't always come at the same time, so we miss each other. BUT, we are always here, and come the summer moths we may get together more often.
And am I still cold.... you bet.

Took my last ANTIBIONIC.. this morning.

Mary, I finished my book yesterday and had a look for another to start. We have a wall full of books, so there was I searching for an interesting one to read.
I found a JODIE PICOULT book... THE *SONG OF THE HUMPBACK WHALE*

I thought , "how did that get there?"
Tony must have bought it for me... so I picked it up and started to read the synopsis and realised that you Mary had bought me it!!
AND, I told you that I had never had a Jodie Picoult book before the one I finished a week or so ago. I wrote and told you all about it. You must have thought...
"what a liar that woman is!" ;-0)
But. Forgive me Mary, I thought it was the truth when I wrote it!
Anyway. I have started it and so far, I don't think this woman can do any wrong!
How come I have never tried her books before?
As for Megan turning 40... I know just how you feel. It is when the children grow so d*** fast. My other son's stepson was 21 yesterday. I still mark them on the calendar although we are not in contact.
Ah well, such is life, mine certainly.

Eileen, I have just sent you a message too. How are you and yours?
I will get around to answering all my e-mails, but while it is cold I just cannot do it.

Liz sent me a photo of her lovely son today. I have promised her some from me, but she will get them when she gets them. I have lost the knowledge since the stroke and it takes me a few disasters before I manage to do it correctly again... I get there in the end, but it is tiring.

And Gail and Mary... and anyone else who needs a bit of decorating to do... any time girls, the walls are waiting... I will not interfere, you have free rein... I'll provide the money for the paint, and Allan will keep you in teas and coffees... and ME? I will talk all the time..... I promise... ALL THE TIME! ha ha ha

Tea is ready so I have to go.

Hello Stephen if you come back. We only have a couple of men on here, but we can have anxiety or depression or both, too. Good luck with the antibiotics. Have you also tried yoghurt (by mouth)? It seems to clear up some persistent bugs in odd places.

Well we are in top gear, racing around like idiots!! 48 hours till the service dogs arrive, and we haven't stopped all weekend.
Big news is that my daughter Megan turned FORTY yesterday. How did that happen, she was just born last week , LOL.
Gail - I empathise about the lounge walls, we had to completely paint the entire room once the new ceiling went in, and was a nice crisp white colour, the rest of the decor looked very tired, so we had no choice but to start from scratch again. Don't worry about dust, it will still be there tomorrow.

Sorry have not been on over the past few days. We got some new lights for the lounge room, as the old fittings did not do well with the new bulbs and could not get ones to fit, I really really hate the new lights as they have kept me away from PC. They work so well that they showed how dirty the walls and curtains were, so we had to wash the walls and loads of dusting. Curtains still not washed. Think we will put the old lights back and then wont have to see the dirt.

I have spent a 'happy' hour searching for ... you all know who... and I am no further forward.
So.. I went on to Ancestry to fill in a bit of my mothers tree... and have now messed it up!
I tried to add my Grannies second husband, she was widowed when my mother was little and later remarried.
The mess I have made of that entry has to be seen to be believed.... and those of you who know me.... can just STOP laughing! I will fix it. Just give me time.
A few weeks should do it! ;-0)

Back to my winter clothes this morning, it is just not fair is it?

Think I know the infection you are talking about, thank goodness for antibiotics-antibionics...lol. Mine finished two days ago...

Am looking forward to the high tea/astological consult on sunday, but NOT to climbing the 3 flights of 17 steps to get to appartment. Lol
