Joyce I don't know whether this is what Jan should be looking into. Do they have our equivalent of the Citizens advice bureau? |

Hi Mary, hows is Megan now, has she accepted Rosies death better, I feel so sorry for children when their pets die, our spaniel died when mine were in the late teens and they still crept to their rooms to cry for her as did I. She was Debra of Rimaelia, Debby to us and as daft as a brush. Both her parents were show winners at crufts and we were told by the beeder she has all the best points for crufts but we didn't want to show her, we wanted a pet. I hope Megan and the others have got over the shock, fifteen years is a very long time, and I wish I could give you some special time just for yourself, you really are a wonderwoman. |

Thanks so much Caz, our Rosie was quite a girl, her registered name was Llandians Sweet Rosie, initially a show dog then, after 4 litters, she was retired and became our pet for 10 years. Being Welsh I had always wanted a corgi. |

Oh Mary I have just seen this, I am so sorry about Rosy, our pets are one of the family and we feel their loss the same. It's the little ones that feel it worst, at least Megan is talking again so maybe she will let her grief out by talking about Rosie. A big ((((((hug)))))) for you all. |

Thank you all, I am almost back together this morning.minding Sarah and Gareth while Mummy is away at Grad school this weekend. Emlyn has a dance recital this after noon so she and MiniMary are waiting at school with Mum. Megan is finally talking again now, she does not cope well with emotional trauma. As I worked for 22 years with the elderly and therefore with the reality of death, I can better accept it than many others. |

Mary I'm so sorry to hear poor Rossie has passed away. I think what Liz has said sums up it all, if I'd seen your post first I would have said the same. And the poem is beautiful, you can just imagine one day meeting Rossie and her spotting you and running to greet you. I like Ann don't know where you keep finding the strength to cope with all that comes to you. When I win thebig lottery I'm going to send you on a relaxing break somewhere quiet xxx Where do you want to go? |

Mary, I am so sorry, especially about the beloved dog. Yes, she was old, but it is always a wrench. The car is less important: they do not have personalities, really. Unless it is as cantankerous old so and so's. |

Poor Mary, you always have to be so strong for the others in your family. You must have some reservoir of great inner strength that you can draw on. I am so sorry to hear about Rosie. She lived to a good old age but that is no consolation to you and your family who loved her. The poem below might help the children and I am sure it will help you. Her'e a huge ((((((((((((((((((((((hug)))))))))))))))))))))) to share around and lots of thoughts and prayers that you and the children can come to terms with your loss. |

Mary, I am so sorry about your poor Rosie, how sad that she has gone now as well as Mary's little dog. Maybe you can ease the children's pain and that of Megan's to say that Rosie went to look after the other dog. |

It's been quite a day. For the third time in about 5t weeks,I am without my van. The engine light came on, the mechanic scanned it and reported that 3 things were triggering the light, don't dare drive it, you may get stuck. So here I am with a huge boat of a loaner car, but at least I was able to get home. |
