Thanks for that Sharron, I have been told that before but don't think I would dare try it. |

Carole, good luck with the driving, take a few drops of rescue remedy before you start to quell the panicky feeling. I am sure you will be fine. |

Carole you will do well with the driving. I had to learn to drive again, I lost my license after my accident as disabled. Had to relearn and sit all tests again. If I can do that you can do yours and pass with flying colours. |

Morning all, it was late when Chris went and I was so tired I couldn't get back on here. It turns out all it was is that the cancer has gone into another place now, my left clavical(?). She didn't say anything about my hip apart from the cancer is near it, she wanted my oncologist to explain it more fully sooner rather than later. |

We have a raffle as well. You pay £1 for a ticket and all but one or two of the tickets win. It's like a tombola. Most weeks I come home with a couple of cans of beer, and by the cringe,do I need them some weeks. |

And, there goes Sharron running down the street, trying to play coy from the hoppies chasing after her with bandages blowing in the breeze behind them all. Looking like ancient bridal veils chasing after the wayward bride. |

No rich single sorts you can get your hands on there Sharron? Or are they all too quick for you in their wheel chairs. Tooo much for you to handle???? |

sharron, I am sure you didn't mean to but you made me chuckle. Could just see you with all these poor old souls with their legs up being dressed. (I know all about leg ulcers as my Dad had one for about25 years before he died at 93. Initially he dressed it himself but we were always aware of 'mind my leg'!!!! |

Since we are doing birthdays,he of the left hand and wheels will be 89 on 23rd November and his brother will be 88 on 4th of January. He has a leg ulcer so I take him to the leg club (yes really) on a Thursday afternoon where we sit in a village hall drinking tea with all the other leg ulcer sufferers. They do get their dressings done as well. |

I agree Mrs Blue Eyes, they tell me then and there or they say nothing at all, and no sly glances either. They have a ruddy cheek Caz. I know you are worried and understand why, Hope it goes well with the nurse. |

Good luck with your appointment Caz, I hate it when medical people talk about you or your condition amongst themselves and don't tell you.... |
