Thanks for that Sharron, I have been told that before but don't think I would dare try it.
I took my first morphine tablet this morning, by lunch time I felt sick, dizzy and couldn't stay awake so went to bed. When I got up I felt even worse, I've taken tonights anyway and see how I go on, if the same tomorrow I will ring nurse for advice, even if it means going back on my Tramadol and no morphine at all. Can't do with feeling like this.

Love to all
Caz xx

Carole, good luck with the driving, take a few drops of rescue remedy before you start to quell the panicky feeling. I am sure you will be fine.

Just had a message from our Betty, Innisfree, it's her son's 27th birthday today, she was out at the internet cafe while her o.h. stayed home with S., he was sleeping but she was worried he would wake before she got back, as her o.h. doesn't cope well.
She is still trying to medicate S through his tea, but thinks he is suspicious as she said he won't always let her make it for him.
Bless her, Betty has her hands full at the mo, and still wanted me to send her love to everyone. What a generous spirited lady she is.

love to everyone from me too, bit hectic at home with o.h. doing shower electrics so power on and off and on, and me queuing for the bathroom lol, then he decided to do some work on tv aerial so tv on and off, such a pleasure having him at home NOT!!!!

Caz.,I am not advocating anything here

Now,I hava friend who has cancer and there was a suspicion that she might need a second course of chemotherapy.

She was told privately by a well respected medical person she will not name at a hospital I will not name but that you will have heard of that.if the chemotherapy became too much to bear, cannabis is a great help.

You do as you will with that piece of information.

Carole you will do well with the driving. I had to learn to drive again, I lost my license after my accident as disabled. Had to relearn and sit all tests again. If I can do that you can do yours and pass with flying colours.

Caz so glad they now have you sorted and a better result than you thought. I know you miss your garden, but the cherry tree sounds lovely. I have a very small cherry that has been having a struggle for 10 years, we had a few off it last year but were very sour. They do not grow well where I live as they are a very sappy tree and the frost will freeze the sap. Very pretty and lots of blossom this year, it really is a magical Spring.

I need a bit of a break from my tree, some of it is driving me nuts, have ordered some certs and just waiting for those to be able to get back to it. Helping someone else feels great, it is good to share what I have learnt. But then having census in UK is such a bonus.

Liz, how did you go on your trip and last respects to nephew? Hope you are getting used to new monitor.

Well mowed full acre of grass today (minus gardens) so probably only 3/4 acre and very tired. Did not fall off once.

Off for some painkillers and a hot bath.

Morning all
Caz pleased it wasn't something horrible they were holding back. Hope your new medication helps with all the pain.xx

Kathy hope your results are good news. Take it easy for a few days. xx

Gail will reply to your lovely email when I get time to sit quiet this weekend. Tomorrow I have to go on a driving course refresher for work. I have managed to get out of it for nearly two years! Thought I'd do it while I am not feeling too bad. Me and a friend I work with have to go out with an instructor (ex cop) to have our driving checked, and advice on better driving. It's cos we drive pasengers to and from work.
Enough said cause I'm getting panicked!!

Have a good day x

In a rush again this morning I have to go to part five of the course at the psychologist.

Good morning everyone.

Caz, pleased it wasn't anything too scary. And also that you have the new tablets/medicine. let us hope they work well for you.

What a pity you can't see your garden now. What you could do with is a video camera (like CCTV) where you could look at it on a screen.

At least you can see the cherry tree and the birds. do you have feeders in the tree?

Better get dressed, OH has gone to golf and my intention is to go for a walk then make some christmas cards......... We will see what I actually do.

Morning all, it was late when Chris went and I was so tired I couldn't get back on here. It turns out all it was is that the cancer has gone into another place now, my left clavical(?). She didn't say anything about my hip apart from the cancer is near it, she wanted my oncologist to explain it more fully sooner rather than later.
I have had my medication changed as well, I was on the top dose of Tramadol and couldn't go any higher, plus the patches, both a form of morphine. Now she has taken me off those two and given me a morphine tablet that equals the dosage of patch and Tramadol, plus I have now got a bottle of liquid morphine to take as a booster when I need it. Panic over.

Gail did you notice my mistake about the garden? I have a big garden full of trees but I can't get into it now, all I can see is the cherry tree outside back window and it's birds. It's great fun isn't it helping others do their tree, mine has come to a stanstill apart from Tuesdays when sister looks for her hubbies family and sometimes one of ours.

Hi Liz, nice to see you again, I wondered where you had got to, I need to speak to you about you know what but don't know the best time to ring. I have pm a few times but got no reply, I know why now.

Kathy hope you feel less bruised and sore today, make the most of it to get plenty of rest.Hope the biopsy results turn out not to be too bad.

Kathy, hope the waiting goes quickly. Glad you are back home, hope you feel better soon.

Sharron, you are just a social butterfly. You would put Jackie to shame.

Hope you are all feeling better today. I am doing okay, we had some beautiful rain, so I am going to mow the grass over the next day or so. The branch on the pear tree that knocked me off mower last time is now gone. So are a few others that either knock my hat off or slap me in the face.

I am helping someone with their tree as well just now so is great fun.

We have a raffle as well. You pay £1 for a ticket and all but one or two of the tickets win. It's like a tombola. Most weeks I come home with a couple of cans of beer, and by the cringe,do I need them some weeks.

Christmas is really good. The bandage company sends sandwiches and we have a party.

You think I am Jackie Onassis or somebody don't you.
I might add that they have a raffle at the Christmas rave-up and the man next to me went home with seventeen prizes.

And, there goes Sharron running down the street, trying to play coy from the hoppies chasing after her with bandages blowing in the breeze behind them all. Looking like ancient bridal veils chasing after the wayward bride.

sharron, I am sure you didn't mean to but you made me chuckle. Could just see you with all these poor old souls with their legs up being dressed. (I know all about leg ulcers as my Dad had one for about25 years before he died at 93. Initially he dressed it himself but we were always aware of 'mind my leg'!!!!

Caz, I think that was quite unprofessional of them to let you see their concern if they were not able to tell you.

Since we are doing birthdays,he of the left hand and wheels will be 89 on 23rd November and his brother will be 88 on 4th of January. He has a leg ulcer so I take him to the leg club (yes really) on a Thursday afternoon where we sit in a village hall drinking tea with all the other leg ulcer sufferers. They do get their dressings done as well.

Oh yes,I have a full and active social calendar!

Given the choice I would say not to have elderly relatives if you can.
