Caz, glad they have cancelled the scan anyway. i do understand about laying flat, as you know I suffer with unexplained back pain. Suggestion is my spine is curving the 'wrong' way. well, when I was in hospital for my op they laid me flat and it was really painful. You would think enough people will have told them. when i saw the dermatologist originally for the biopsy of the rodent ulcer, the nurse was lovely and put a pillow under my shoulders to lift my back as soon as I said I had trouble lying flat. |

Hi Everyone, just a quickie, Macmillan nurse rang this afternoon saying she'd had a word with the doctor who sent me for MRI scan. Said she wanted another one as the one last week was inconclusive, didn't say why she wanted it though. The nurse told her I didn't want radiotherapy, she told me to cancel next weeks scan and she will have a good talk to me on the 17th, my next appointment. I am still having trouble with my back because I had to lay flat, it's alright for the doctors they don't have any problems. FGS they even sent a hospital bed to my home because I can't lay flat, what does she want to do, break my back? |

Since then been catching up with Christmas card making, writing etc. Next weekend visiting son to deliver presents, then the following weds OH has hospital appointment to see the consultant about his hernia. Don't know if they will be able to estimate when the op will be. |

Hello everyone, what are we doing on page eight? Only Liz posted yesterday, are we all suddenly feeling better or maybe too busy with Christmas. I haven't even thought about it yet, I'm going to have to get my cards done as some need to be sent a long way. |

I have the jar opener and the tin opener. My tin opener just sits on the top of the can you press a button and goes round and round then shuts itself off. Does his do the same. Actually I have two jar openers the other is called the OH. |

I agree Sharron I would not be where I am without them. Mine did admit she was a sadist. If you heard my accent you would probably send me the speech therapist as well. |
