Sorry Sharron no hat yet, was too cold yesterday to search for them in the shed.
Hazel great that you are making friends.
Clare have PM you, such progress with the candles, you must feel so proud.
Not laughing Deanna as may have an accident. :))
Hope everyone is okay today, I hate the cold weather and I am sure we were getting wind off snow yesterday, always makes pain worse.
My pink violets are starting to flower and just so pretty. There are a few white and purples and blues but mostly pink in the garden next to my little office, Also the daffodils and jonquils are popping up, a couple even have flower heads. I need to do a lot of pruning over the next few weeks so hopefully will be able to start this weekend. OH has to clean up the mess I make and throw it in the trailer.
Love and hugs to ALL of you.
Gail

Hello to everyone, just popping in for a minute. All well here, was P's b'day yesterday and he had a party in his class and another one in the evening for grandparents which he seemed to enjoy. He actually blew the candles out on his cake this year which he has never done before and we got a photo of it. I will pass them on via email when I have the chance, if anyone who would like to look pm's me their addy. I am trying so hard to be positive at the moment, which as you know is easier said than done but never mind, I will get there one day . Eileen, glad you like the magnet I could'nt resist it and showed it to Lily while we were in the shop. It seems like an age away now, will have to organise another trip, perhaps we could have an anx/depression meet in Dublin? Off to bed now, sleep well all in the uk and hope you have a good day to those who live abroad Claire x

Hi everyone,
Had a great day with my friend. We are goin to meet up again soon as we both have our grand children most weekends. So they can play with each other. They about the same ages as well.
I also had good news tonight the letter i sent to a lady who i was hoping was my great uncles grand daugther. And it was so we had a good chat, she has filled some gaps in for me. Plus confirmed somethig for me as well
Mum always said we were related to the GREENS sponge mix family, And we are. So going to look into that more now.

Deanna, hope the shoulder gets better soon. You could be right about the typing. Is your computer at the right position for you to type comfortably? On the other hand maybe you slept awkwardly. Take it easy for a couple of days, read only and don't type and hopefully it will get better. Ann Glos

I only came on to tell you all that i am NOT COMING ON TODAY.... tee hee I have a really painful shoulder today, all night too, and I think it may be because of the typing. So I decided to take a day off. THEN, I come on the boards and don't want to leave!
I must though, so see you all later. Lots of love, Deanna XXXX

Hello !! Had a chat with Dutch tonight. She is going to try to register at a doctor near her friend in Liverpool tomorrow. So now we all know and she will have to try harder!!! The woman who needs a walking stick left it in Boots while shopping.
Gail ......after a long pause I have forgot what I was going to say to you. I think it was I'll pm you later but I can't think to night. It's past my bed timexx
Eileen we know you don't feel well and don't expect you to come and talk of all the 'joy' in your life. You probably don't have much!! But we are still here to let you know you are not alone in your lowest times xxx
Colin hope you are keeping well xx
Anyone seen Dave?
Sharron lovely to see you again xx
Caz thinking of you xx
Deanna your jokes get worse!!! xx lol
Claire nice to talk to you last week. Still thinking about Chester meet, but not sure if I dare drive all that way. Steve is working so no one to sit with me and read the signs!! xx
I'm driving to work tomorrow a longish way so I must go to bed xx nite nite xx
Can we all send healing thoughts to Ann's dil's father who has had a stroke. Wishing him a good recovery.

good idea Gail Claddagh, we like to 'see' you even if you are not bubbling with joy. please come on, you especially need our support when you are down. I believe hair loss can be caused by stress and/or depression as well as hormones, but your daughter may be right and it is the thyroid. a dermatologist will have some idea and will be able to advise you. I hope so anyway. ann Glos

Hello everyone.
Still not posting regularly.Ann, it IS rather difficult to 'come back" when you haven't been on for quite some time, especially when you can't say anything cheerful.
Having said that, the post brought a gift from Claire, which really gave me a boost, so kind and thoughful of her, so thank you Claire.Have stuck the Claddagh magnet on the fridge.
I do think of all of you who are having a bad time of it, even though I don't post....must rally make an effort to try shake off this awful feeling of dread and panic .
Have been referred to a dermatologist for the hair loss. What on EARTH does such a specialiast have to do with (maybe) a hormone prob? Two daughters think it is to do with the thyroid and/or the meds. not properly sorted yet. Will maybe hear more on the 21st.
Take care and be happy.
Love. Eileen

My favourite cooking apples are called Granny Smiths. Lovely.
I peel my apples and potatoes by placing then in the plug hole in the sink and use a peeler, or use my spiked board, pain in the rear end, so am going to get an apple/potato peeler. More time to practice knitting.
