Hi Ben, I am sorry about your Uncle, may he rest in peace now, free from all pain and suffering. I hope he enjoyed hearing about the family history you have found out so far. |

Ben, I am so sorry to see about your uncle. I suppose the only thing one can say is that he is now out of pain. |

Oh Gail, so sorry you're not feeling well. It sounds more like the common or garden variety of flu, not the swine type. And a boil on the bum to boot. Not nice at all. |

Do not know if swine flu or not, they stopped testing for it ages ago. It has been a very nasty flu though, so would not be surprised if it was that dreaded bug. First time I have had the flu and had symptoms of food poisoning as well, wont go into detail. Have also lost my voice from sore throat. |

Carol, I have a cup of ordinary (T bag sorry Sharron) tea first thing, brought to me in bed. With breakfast I have a cup of peppermint tea. Mid morning ordinary coffee (instant but decaff upsets my stomach), lunch time occasionally a cup of tea but not always as sometimes I have a cup a soup, afternoon a cup of peppermint tea. And that is it, other drinks, a glass of something alcoholic, sometimes 2 early evening, otherwise water. |

You know how your tea-pot gets inside sometimes?Well,I think that may be what my ailimentary canal must look like with the quantity of tea that goes through it.Rarely drink coffee but I LOVE tea.Loose leaf,in the tea-pot(warmed first). |

Thanks Liz. I had two weetabix and a coffee for breakfast. Once at work I was hungry before tea break. Had two bananas, and a milkyway, & coffee. Lunch I ate both the cheese sandwiches I had taken, and a muller fruit corner, and a biscuit with my coffee. So didn't do too bad. One more day and I'm off till Monday. I felt better once at work than I had expected, so pleased with my first day. I'm driving tomorrow. Very trusting lot!!! |

Hi all, busy times for lots of you and I am not much help to anyone at the mo, am so busy trying to sort out this holiday accom. for us, three weeks today we should be going away and so far I can't find the right place to stay. The original one in Norfolk is now let for the first week so I can't fall back on that, and my head is spinning looking through so many blasted holiday sites. O.h. is very fussy about where he stays and how far it is etc but have some more for him to look at when he gets up and hopefully can book one of those. He has just booked to go to his son's for the Sat pm and Sunday of the weekend before, so no idea when he thinks he will get things ready or sorted out as he is on late shift that week too. Everything has to fit in with his son, never mind he keeps postponing the visit when O.h. sorts out dates. I have waited all summer for him to go away for the night and he has to choose that weekend! I know it will be the same as always, me having to do all the sorting, packing and loading the car and unloading the other end cos he will be too tired, after driving! So much for being my toyboy, he hasn't got the stamina of a peanut! The only good thing will be that we have seperate rooms and I will not be cooking much, I have told him I want to eat out most days, otherwise it is no holiday for me. It will be nice to go somewhere we haven't been before, looking at Broadstairs, Eastbourne or Whitstable, so not too far to drive, under 200 miles and found some nice properties to rent where there are beaches and shops and restaurants in easy reach I hope without having to drive much, so I can have a drink out and not worry about the driving home in the dark. |

Goodness they had a short married life, how sad. Yes I reckon they would have stayed in London for a day or so before travelling to Essex. Why do you need to know? They obviously moved in the end if George died in |
