Maud Harris (Henrietta Jobe) and son Geoffrey Harris lived at no. 37 Mount Street, Redditch and travelled to South Africa on the Guildford Castle Steamship, which left London on the 3 February 1932. It is stated that Geoffrey was 6 years old at the time.....but I am not sure this is correct.......I believe he was younger than this. I am desperately looking for Geoffrey's birth details. His father was Gilbert Edwin Harris who was married to Nora who also left for S.A. in 1927. They were also of the same address....37 Mount Street, Redditch. Any more info would be greatly appreciated. |
