I'm off to my bed now to try and sleep.............I will update when I know anything.

I can't ring until at least 3.30 though...........I have arranged to work a full school day to keep myself busy.

And get the exhaust replaced at the local garage................luckily that's only a couple of minutes walk from work........and they don't charge too much either.

The food at the hospital will be at least as good as mine!?!

So far he has had one very tired looking cheese sandwich...............nothing now until at least Wednesday evening.

On the way back to the hospital.....after my quick meal, the exhaust fell off the car!!.....................that is going to be an expense we could do without, but never mind, onward and upward :))

I left him telling the other 3 men in his ward all about my driving and cookery skills.....................think he's after the sympathy vote! LOL

At least it took his mind off tomorrow...............they are giving him a sleeping tablet tonight and this time tomorrow it will be all over and then he can start his recovery.

I am exhausted, so thanks for the wine Maddie..............cheers :))

Thank you....................just nipped home for some food then going back over for an hour.

He goes to theatre at 8.30 and will be back on the ward about 4pm................I hope I will be able to see him tomorrow evening.

Looks like about half his bladder is going to be removed and he may need a colostomy for a while................but at least he will be well again after a few weeks rest.
