Hiya stray...............he showed me his colostomy bag today...........and the visitor opposite got a flash of all his bits!!

Poor woman, she went scarlet and got all flustered.......... her husband roared with laughter!

Think my husband might have to hide behind the screens next time she visits! lol

Hello everyone........just got back and he's still having problems keeping his oxygen level up, they have stopped the morphine and he seems fine pain wise.

He's still in bed..............they put him in the chair for an hour this morning, but it was too much for him

The doctor came by and explained that the morphine combined with the long anaethetic were the problem and he should be much more alert tomorrow.

He also handed me a container with bladder stones in it!!

That explains the blockages he kept getting....................the doctor was well impressed that he coped with the pain of passing those while waiting for the operation.

Not sure how they missed them in all the previous tests, but never mind :)

How is he Kitty?

Seems I miss all the news, but I am caring about you all.
Is he up and about yet?
They like to get you up as fast as they can.
Tell him I am thinking of him.

Hope you see a huge improvement in hubby when you visit today. Your poor daughter - sounds just like me - terrified of all the equipment around beds. When mom had her op the night before she said see that lady over there with all the equipment around the bed - well it will be me tomorrow - so dont be frightened !!!
Take care Kitty

Thank you Win and for you pm too :))

Hayley...............those are exactly the right words :))

Maddie................he will be horrified if he knows how scared she was, he's still on oxygen this morning to make sure it doesn't happen again.
It would be the one daughter who is squeamish and hates anything to do with illness, bless her.

I am off to work now until 11ish....................will look in again then.

Thanks a million everyone.

*spots a cobweb I missed yesterday*
