♥ Kitty the Rubbish Cook ♥ Report 24 Jan 2008 19:32

Luckily he didn't know what he was doing.......................bet he won't believe me when I tell him what he did :))

I didn't want to see the blooming bag anyway...............I think he automatically shows everyone who comes near him.

My sister is visiting this evening................if he flashes her, she'll run a mile!!

Perhaps I should have warned her!?!

Hope someone explains to him who's sister she is.

He might just hear " The Sister has come to See you" lol and think she's come to examine him!! ;O) X

LOL Mau.....................that would be so funny :)))))

She is a lovely lady, my sister, but takes life a bit too seriously.....................loves a drama and illness and will go to every funeral she can :))

Sleep tight Kitty....you certainly need a nice long rest.... make the most of it whilst you can.

So pleased to hear your hubby is improving even though he is showing off his bits to one and all....

perhaps he is practising to become a stripper once he is up and fit once again.

You had better watch out lass.... lol

Night, night..... sleep tight....

sending you hubby hugs for speedy recovery

morphines nice when you have it but its one of the nastiest for the side effects i think,
i had shallow breathing when i had it after an op
and i couldnt open my eyes, had to have oxygen mask on

send him our love
and tell him to not rush , take it slowly

Our friend actually had an allergic reaction to morphine and was seeing things crawling up the walls, then they forgot he was allergic and gave him another dose.

Glad you OH is gradually improving Kitty, hope he will be with it tomorrow and keeping his bits under cover.

Pleased to hear that today was not so scary....not too sure if the lady visitor would be able to cope with such excitement every day though.

I hope tomorrow brings further improvement and the adverse drug side affects gone.

Look after yourself. He'll need you to be strong for him when he comes home.

Missed this last night Kitty, so glad he is on the mend now, sorry but I had to laugh about his antics with his bits. Glad I wasn't the other visitor, I would have burst out laughing and still be laughing when I got home, I'm awful, slightest thing sets me off.
Big (((((((((((hugs )))))))))) to you both.

♥ Kitty the Rubbish Cook ♥ Report 26 Jan 2008 08:41

Morning everyone.......................he is off the morphine and making much more sense now.

He has had a chest x-ray and all is well there, but he is chesty as he gave up smoking to prepare for the operation and has some congestion to get rid of yet.

He has stopped flashing now and gone all coy :))

The lady visitor opposite came in yesterday holding a hand over her eyes and giggling like mad...........my husband grinned sheepishly, so I guess her husband had told mine what happened.

He's had a walk round the ward and is allowed some food today....................the first since Monday, but it's been a good weight loss plan as he needed to lose a few pounds.

They are allowed mobiles, so I took his in for him last night.................as soon as he starts phoning me to moan about something, I'll know he's well on the mend! lol

It looks like he will be in until at least Monday or Tuesday.............I am visiting Mum first today, then going on to the hospital straight from there.

Our eldest daughters are taking our youngest bowling today and my sister is doing the dog-walking duties.............it will be so much easier when he's home.

Thanks for your continued support and pm's

Speak to you all later.................I might even have time to look at other threads tonight, no time today.

Oh........................and hospital food is way worse than mine!! :)))

xx
