think all the Kardomah's closed years ago - we had one in Queen Street in Cardiff - they were coffee shops and they sold those lovely little chocolate cakes wrapped in cellophane - Kunzle Cakes - remember those? |

just googled Kardomah, and it is the cafe that Dylan Thomas frequented with his friends, it was in castle street, but was flatened during the war, and was rebuilt and is still there today. |

Anyone from Manchester remember Henry's store on Market St? not as classy as Lewis's,but used to get some real bargains especially in their china dept,in fact still have some small china plates that I got from there! |
