Sorry all... I haven't bumped this up for a while.....

Linda McD has needed to alter the dates she is coming to Cwmbran, so won't be able to make the fair :¬(( but I am still going to meet up for coffee :¬DDD so I have that to look forward to!

Jax... I have a booster seat now... brand new, never used, so you won't need to cart one here with you.

Linda... I will still meet you and take you places, I get back from Scarborough late on the Tuesday.. I am looking forward to that!

Theres one on walking distance from me at the moment - im going to pop over tomorrow if I can fit an hour in between painting the front of the house doing the h**se w*** and getting ready to go out tmorrow night, so ill have a heads up and I beleive possibly bump into someone.

There's a shame, Romany... I have Roberts in both mine and my husband's trees... his are from Ceredigion and Gwent, and mine are from Swansea... they are a nightmare to research! I keep getting the wrong ones in the wrong tree ;¬))

Lol Maddie.... it is inside County Hall, so you got proper flooring... we could find a nice beer garden if you want to play on the grass, tho? ;¬))) lol

I have never been to one either... but I do know that there are loads of stalls, some offering advice, parish records for sale etc... local areas as well as some of the adjoining ones from England. Lots of people migrated from over the border because of the mines and ports etc.

You can also buy specialist geneology charts, paperwork and files... acid free suff to store your certificates for instance.

Other than colouring books and pencils should we be bringing anything else - you know tree wise. I've never been to one of these before so dont know what to expect?

Oh most important - is it going to be on concrete or grass - I need to think about my footwear lol.

There will be representatives from Devon, Cornwall Glamorgan and various other local Family History Societies... plus specialist Geneology chart and forms people (I think Ron and Carole will have a stall there.... can't wait to meet them) and Military experts too

I have to go and rummage around in the *dumping ground* at the side of the house now...... you wouldn't believe the stuff that is hiding there!!

I have *gifted* some sheets of perspex on Freecycle, and they will be collecting them at 4.30pm... it'll take me that long to make a space through to get them, lol!!
