you should beat Reading Glynis but beating United at their stadium, sorry what's it called again Theatre sommat, oh yes dreams that's it-well that will be hard-

I went to their ground once you know years ago-Derby Day when Roy Keane ended Alfie Harlaands's career, Dave B will remember it well-anyway me and me mate joanne, could only get tickets in the united end, so we sat there cheering for City-no-one batted an eye lid-OH was up in the gods getting a nose bleed-pmsl
happy days-well apart from Roy Keane that is

Right time for the shops but for those non footy fans visiting the thread (and a great one it is to) some useful football definitions to help you understand the beautiful game:

Football: A game consisting of 22 skilled players, one impartial referee, two eagle eyed referee's assistants and one stupid ball.

Teammate: Another person that you have to dribble around

Fans: Two sets of absusive referees

Offside: The Bermuda Triangle area of the pitch where "innocent" players are drawn towards.

Scoring: When 11 men spontaneously start dancing and kissing, regardless of any injuries, whilst 11 others droop like wallflowers

Striker: Faultless, overpaid, box hogging layabout who only misses the goal when he is fed a bad ball

Defender: Player who's function is to commit fouls just outside of the penalty area

Ball: Round object used by referees to entice players into comitting fouls

Answer to my question:

Graham Roberts joined Spurs from non league Weymouth for a record fee for a non league player of £25,000

More questions if people like trivia...what do we think?

GI YID Report 8 Jan 2008 13:52
