during my many years working at our local psychiatric hospital, one of our Nursing Officers went to the prison that housed Ian Brady [Broadmoor I think] He saw Brady and said he was asolutely barking mad

I think 'personal retribution' is a different matter...

would I kill some one who hurt my child? almost certainly...or at very least I would want to...

don't think there is or ever will be 100% proof, even DNA can be fixed

yes i agree not all cases are watertight and in that case lock them up for life untill they are found otherwise

but what if you get the wrong person, how do you 100% proof

well im sorry but any adult who hurts a child ie a pedo or child murderer should be killed but thats summit i feel so strongly about

children are their to be loved and cherished and anyone who perpatrates that needs puttign to sleep like a dog would be if he bit

how can u reabilitate some one with those tendancies they have tryed and how many have gone on to do this again and more children have suffered coz the law is lax!!!!!!!!!!!

agree with you Rose about the death penalty, but must say when a small child is systematically abused and then killed by an adult I have great difficulty in telling myself that death would not be enough for the perpertrators - it's a tough one and I suppose better minds than ours [or mine should I say] have tried and seemingly failed dismally
