Just to let you know I have sent out the following email to all BGs:

Hi all,

I have been moved to tears! Why? I have just arrived home after the most horrendous day at work and what is awaiting me? A beautiful arrangement of roses in a ceramic cup & saucer (very apt for a Potteries girl), with a lovely card from The Birthday Girls thanking me for the group!

Thank you so much, I am really touched. I loved looking after you all, and I hope to continue being part of the group for a long time to come. I'll try and get a photo of the flowers and post it so you can all see how beautiful they are. I'll need to enlist daughter to help with that though.

Thank you all again, and especial thanks to Jo and Heather for taking over administrating the group. Oh, and to whoever organised the flowers, a big (((((hug))))).

Love Liz xxx

Sue I was so tempted as I love paper nation decoupage, but there was so much in it I would not use as I don't like stamping and there were too many dogs!! Toyed with the idea of buy and selling the bits I didn't want on ebay!!

Ann the tsv (todays special value) is on QVC it is a product or bundle of products for sale, at that price for 24hrs only, at a greatly reduced price if you went in the shops and bought it. The only thing is they are sometimes quite a large amount of products especially when it is a crafting one. Paper Nation is a crafting company they specalise in decoupage. The Paper Nation one on Saturday was £120 worth of decoupage sheets, shrink plastic stamps, stamp pad cards envelopes etc. Looked really good, but so much! They have a crafting one about once a month. Create and Craft are the same but have one once a week and today it is a Joanna Sheen CD which is not available anywhere else.
Hope that all makes sense!!

I probably should not have to ask this but what is the paper nation TSV (what is TSV?) I don't watch the craft programmes on TV because they would be too tempting. Just back from town and yet again manged to buy four books to add to the pile of unread books in my room, plus a couple of cheap stick on topper packs and a £1 pack of 3 sheets of holograph paper. No I don't need it or know when I will use it but I liked it!!!

((((( : King Cole : ))))) Report 23 Jan 2008 14:00

Hi all

Did anyone else order the Paper Nation TSV from QVC on Saturday? Mine arrived today and I'm really pleased with it. Have made 2 cards from it already.

Did I need it? Well, No, not actually. Like everyone else, have got so much stuff - just cannot make enough cards to use it up. I'm still using stuff I bought 5 years ago!!!! And I'm not thrifty with it.

But it's fun and it doesn't hurt anybody - so what the hell!!!

Morning,

Jojo sounds like you are getting organised :)) Can you come & do mine for me.Gosh all the little bits soon mount up don't they.
Sylvia, glad to hear you are getting better xx
Ann I know exactly what you mean about minutes, it used to drive me mad sometimes rewriting them out, glad I don't have to do that anymore.

Morning all, Sylvia glad to hear you are feeling a little better, what do they have to give you, stronger antibiotics? Have ordered some A4 and A5 storage boxes from ebay so I can keep all my crafting 'bits' no idea why I use the word bits, I have enough to fill a small room)
going to then put them all in a labeled in a large book case in my dining room, hopefully will then be able to find things.

Hi Sylvia, at least you have no pain now, that is something.

My problem with the minutes is that I don't do shorthand. However they are very good and usually precis what they want in the minutes for me.

Hi girls,
Well no pain today but having to visit the loo too often makes life a misery. I must phone the urologist tomorrow as promised.
Jill, yes I do drink Cranberry juice but this is so deep seated I don't think it is going to be simple to get rid of it. I have a slow working thyroid gland and diabetes and these are two things which can make you have cystitis I have read. When the doctor looked at my records yesterday (a new doctor for me) he said "my, you've been through the wars", and you must be strong to have pulled through. This is the 2nd doctor to have told me this.
Ann, I used to be a secretary too and had meetings to attend. I was always scared I wouldn't be able to read my own shorthand. Some years ago I had a meeting here to attend for a friend of ours - he was a professor in veterinary science. I hadn't done any shorthand for years so was really scared. Anyway managed to make a report for him.
What is Dufex?
I find Lakeland expensive compared with the prices here.
I've just found another site here and ordered lots of Sticklers glue as the price was good and if I spent 20 Euros then I wouldn't have to pay postage. Well, I made sure I spent 20 Euros!

Sylvia, sorry to hear that you are suffering. I too have a sore heel, rubbed it with one pair of trainers and now it just wont heel. isn't it the so called 'little' thingss that make life difficult?

Must get around to making more cards. Been at a meeting all morning and now have minutes to type up if I can make head or tale of them. Having a hearing problem and being minutes secretary is a real problem!!

Hope you soon get yourself sorted out , its no fun to be suffering with that for so long, have you tried drinking lots of cranberry juice?

Hi all,
I was going to do some household chores today but woke up with a lot of pain in my stomach. I have had this cystitis now for more than a year and had just finished my last lot of tablets, but it is obvious I need more tablets as I'm losing blood too.
I tidied my craft things up too Ann and also made some more cards. This afternoon I went to the doctor for a rash I have on my heel and under the foot. Why do I always get everything?
The doctor said I must be very strong to have gone through what I have done these last few years, but I have heard this before. It is not very comforting.
Is anybody the owner of a cuttlebug? If so, is it really worth the money? There are several people on marktplaats (like EBay) who offer cards cut with the cuttlebug at a reasonble price. I have bought some and decorated them myself.
Have a nice evening.
Sylvia xxx

Morning girls,

Susan what a lovely thing to do.Glenda always seems very helpful when she's on C & C.
I must have a look at her new stamps, caught a glimpse of them the other day.

Well it's a dull dreary day in Cheshire again :)
Lots of hw chores to do today, then I need to tidy my craft room up, got a bit messy yesterday :))

Hope you are all ok.
