Hi all,
Jill, it sounds as though you have moved house or changed kitchens just as many times as we have. Every kitchen has been so different. In Nigeria we had what we called our "outside kitchen" where we had a wooden stove and made excellent bread on it. Well, my "boy" did all the hard work, I just looked on.
I actually did some housework today, well showed the duster where the dust was. It takes me such a long time to get moving in the morning these days.
However, card making is easy I don't have to think too hard about this I just do it.
The ground was white this morning with frost but mid morning had cleared completely.
Now girls,on to card making again. What a life.

Afternoon ladies, hope you are all well. Weather here is still freezing, stayed white over all day, looked like a Christmas card!! Managed to get all my cards finished yesterday and in the post, quite pleased with them. Made a lovely shoe card yesterday, so quick to make but very effective! I might try reducing the template down by half and see what a smaller version looks like. Off now to make my spring ATC's if I can think of something to do.

A "shoe" card, now that is a new one to me. I cannot ask what it looks like because you'll say a "shoe", but would like to see one.
No more frost out but still too cold for me.
Tomorrow have to see the urologist and anxious to hear whether or not I have "lost" my cystitis after having it for more than a year.

Hi all,
First of all I have such good news. My cystitis is over. After having this for more than a year and a lot of pain and misery my urologist told me that
my sample of urine was free from bacteria. I was walking on air after that. Anyway I still have to have a euro dynamisch test to see how much I can empty my bladder each time, etc. etc.
I just hope that when I see my own doctor next week that she will find I have grown new blonde curls. Well, hair of any sort will be welcome!

On top of this good news my cardiologist phoned just now and told me that my heart valve has not deteriorated very much this last year so no emergencies here.
I have already mailed you Jo about the pattern for the shoe. I don't know what I had imagined but certainly not this. Many thanks.

Good morning ladies :)))

Sylvia, so pleased that you are now clear, a year is a long time to suffer xx

Had a crafty afternoon with my friend yesterday and managed to make a Mothers Day card using a Waterfall. I am very pleased with the result, it took me a while to suss it out but I refused to give up :)))))
Had a meeting last night with the man doing our stairs and fitted wardrobes and that all starts in the next few weeks, cannot wait. Then the kitchen planning begins, would like to get it all finished by the summer but not too sure if that is possible.
Off to the shops this morning then will try and get some card making done this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day.

xx Jill

Hi all,
Yes, I'm still walking on air just like I've been given a new life.
Johan has gone into town today to renew a lot of books at the library and also has a hospital appointment. My daughter phoned me and she said she would be coming round. It was nice to see her. She was here when my hairdresser came so was nice for those two to meet up again. It was Janet who introduced me to this hairdresser. My hairdresser ensures me that my hair is growing nicely, and dark hair, no blonde, no grey. Certainly a new life girls. Just need a new husband !
Have a nice evening.

Sylvia so pleased to hear your good news, no wonder you are walking on air.
Jill sounds like you are getting yourself sorted, I take it your 'Man' cannot hand make your kitchen units?
Waterfall cards once you grasp the 'back to front' principle of the t-bar everything else falls into place.
Overcast here today, but only a light shower of rain, hope it stays away, prefer the sunny and very cold weather.

Well we had a few drops of rain today but the frost has disappeared altogether.
Went to the market today and had more than usual shopping to do for my neighbour as she has knocked her leg and cannot walk. She looks after her invalid husband so she needs all the help she can get. When I got to the market I suddenly felt sick and dizzy, and thought "oh no" and I've got so much shopping to do. Well since I have come back I have done nothing and ate nothing so hope this bug has gone by tomorrow. I was just feeling on top of the world and walking on air, why this???????????
Johan took the shopping upstairs to my neighbour. He must keep well now, so will have to feed the brute I suppose.
Have a nice evening everyone.

Sylvia sorry to hear that you are not feeling well, especially as you were, as you say walking on air yesterday. Hope it is only a virus and you start to feel better very quickly.

Sylvia, hope you are feeling lots better today xxx

I am staying in today as had a run in with a tree yesterday :))) We have been taking sections of our oaks out when one made a lunge at me :))) I ended up on the ground in a pile of sheep droppings with a very heavy bit of the tree on me. Now nursing a damaged shoulder and a lovely grazed face. Good way of getting out of log cutting for the winter :)))
When I came to my senses ,all I could do was laugh as John pushed back my hair to check my face but no, he was checking my earrings where still in :))))
We are meant to be going ten pin bowling tonight but might have to sit it out.
Good excuse to stay indoors and craft as right arm ok!!

Hope everyones keeping well and that you all have a good weekend planned

Jill you poor thing!! Very lucky to only have minor injuries, could have seriously injured you and damaged your face, I would definitely stay in and keep warm and rest your bruises.
Sylvia hope you are feeling a little better today.
Is it Sues (King Cole) daughters wedding this weekend?

Hi all,
Well much better today although have only eaten a piece of bread and cannot face a warm meal.
That will come!
Poor Jill, fancy having a fight with an oak tree. Now you know who is the stronger. I bet you are all sore today though. Thinking of you - honest I am, but seriously had a little giggle when I read your remarks about your earrings. I suppose your husband bought them for you - Men, who would have them!
Now Ann, will be thinking of you on Tuesday. When you lie in bed in hospital think of me, then I know we are in focus. It's almost a year ago now when I had my op. What is a year?
I received another package of craft bits and pieces I had ordered. Johan just says "mail again for you". He must be wondering why I am almost daily receiving packets. Yes, I have found out that I can order on the internet and now there is no holding me back.
Now all have an enjoyable Sunday, and till tomorrow.
