Well Mum has just rung me, did a bit of grovelling and all ok....LOL

I had my family here .......my mum , my hubby, my 4 kids and my x- hubby who has cancer ( just told us)...my two eldest spent most of the day with tears in their eyes .....coz I let him stay for the day.....
Well he was a crap hubby ...but the best dad in the world ..

he brought them both some thing they can keep "after" .................

I got up at 7.30 with the kids not bad really. was great seeing thir faces esp harry.
I got the New Take that CD a bottle of baileys, book vouchers a web cam, clothes,loads of smellies.
Was a very quiet and low key xmas oh and we played the new Hollywood buzz version.
The soaps were great, I must have nodded off about 3 times.
Off to inlaws today-

Awwww Maddie, thats a superb pressie! I guess you'll be quiet for a while getting that lot burned onto CD now lol

I feel awful. I knew my mum had knitted me a jumper (black aran, not too bad lol) and put a toy in for the cat, but.......when I phoned her last night I had only just got in, and just unwrapped it and got the cat playing with his toy, but hadn't actually taken the jumper out of the bag to look at it. I told her I had and that it was lovely.

But..........when I took it out this morning, another box fell out, and inside was a silver chain braclet, with a silver heart pendant, set with diamond and sapphire, and on the back is inscribed, Daughter, I was never so blessed as the day you were born. It's beautiful and made me cry.

I'm going to have to ring her this evening and apologise.

Glad everybody had a brill day :-)))) we had all the children and grandchildren around all day hectic but the best pressie in the world :-)))))))))))))))))))

Ohh OOOHHH Ohhhhh Ive just finished opening my Christmas presents I got the bestest bestest present ever!!!!

A record player that links to my pc!!!! I can get all my vinyl out and put it onto cd and onto my IPOD - How fab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CDS are great but I love my Vinyl but stereo was so big it went in the loft a few years ago and I've had nothing to play my records on. To have them on my IPOD is like all my birthdays and Christmases at once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OOh I just remebered I got some spa lights too - to go in the bath...pretty coloured lights in different colours which shine in the water ...now then is it Puss or Haley that would be jealous? Brains a bit fuddled today.

On the plus side....................I have had fun playing with the Sylvanian house and shop she got................she was just watching me enjoying myself! lol

Aww hope she feels better soon Kitty. Ive got the cough this morning and my own central heating system on overdrive! LOL.

I only got up to give OH a chance to get some sleep as I fear I kept him up most of the night (and not in a christmassy way!).

We are also having an open house today so am trying to tidy what I can as I suspect I may well take to my bed again later and he will have to host on his own :(

Aww....................poor you Maddie, lovely boots:)).........our youngest has that rotten bug too and was crashed on the sofa most of the day.

She is coughing for England this morning, so I am going to the duty chemist later to get some medicine.

I havent opened all mine yet :( Cold knocked me for six so we left relies early eve and came home to take to me bed.

But so far a pair of pink slipper boots with pink fake fur ...... I know they sound dire but they are so cute and I am wearing them as I type.

My best pressie is a mug with 'Born to be Mrs Terry Venables' written on it!

My best pressie is a Cartier watch.............BLING BLING.................and the worst is the rotten fake nails that are glued on tight and won't come off!!!!

It's soooo hard to type................lol

My best pressie was the illustrated Lord of the Rings book, i already have 2 copies of the book but this one was illustrated by Alan Lee and the geek in me wanted it really bad but couldnt justify paying £50 on a book for myself.

My Dad (aged 97) being well enough to leave the nursing home and come to us for a few hours.

A few weeks ago we had been told to "expect the worst". I can't describe how happy it made us to be able to sit round the table with him again.
