Im not normally a necklace, jewelery person but i am wearing this one with pride :):)

My husband has spoilt me absolutely rotten this year. He got me a diamond watch and a Coalport figurine, one of those ladies in a ballgown, some books, a dressing gown and slippers, a massive case of nailcare equipment and tons of nail varnishes, the Jackie CD, plus a mountain of chocolate. Plus I got £200 cash off my dad to spend at the sales.

The downside to the day is that I woke up this morning with a migraine and I've spent most of the day in bed so I've more or less missed Christmas. Ah well, there's always next year .........

Teresa, will have to come and see your elephant, I love all elephant things, got a pen with an elephant on the end,(saw it in Malta and my lad got it for me when we were there) a photograph album with a mum and baby elephant on the front and a little pink elephant all soft and squishy leather look from the Aberglasney gardens in Wales, loved it when we were there and hinted like mad, so when he had to just nip back to the loo..... I had an inkling it would be in my stocking!

Mine was getting my grandson on thursday.Today did my rounds around the family and my 14 year old grandaughter wanted to come home and stay.We are all going out in the morning sale shopping.(they are going to bleed me dry) lol Annie

My Dad (aged 97) being well enough to leave the nursing home and come to us for a few hours.

A few weeks ago we had been told to "expect the worst". I can't describe how happy it made us to be able to sit round the table with him again.

My best pressie was the illustrated Lord of the Rings book, i already have 2 copies of the book but this one was illustrated by Alan Lee and the geek in me wanted it really bad but couldnt justify paying £50 on a book for myself.

My favourites are my snuggly white dressing gown................*shows it off proudly*

And non stick pans and a cookbook with really easy instructions :)))

My best pressie is a mug with 'Born to be Mrs Terry Venables' written on it!

I havent opened all mine yet :( Cold knocked me for six so we left relies early eve and came home to take to me bed.

But so far a pair of pink slipper boots with pink fake fur ...... I know they sound dire but they are so cute and I am wearing them as I type.

Aww....................poor you Maddie, lovely boots:)).........our youngest has that rotten bug too and was crashed on the sofa most of the day.

She is coughing for England this morning, so I am going to the duty chemist later to get some medicine.

Aww hope she feels better soon Kitty. Ive got the cough this morning and my own central heating system on overdrive! LOL.

I only got up to give OH a chance to get some sleep as I fear I kept him up most of the night (and not in a christmassy way!).

We are also having an open house today so am trying to tidy what I can as I suspect I may well take to my bed again later and he will have to host on his own :(

On the plus side....................I have had fun playing with the Sylvanian house and shop she got................she was just watching me enjoying myself! lol

OOh I just remebered I got some spa lights too - to go in the bath...pretty coloured lights in different colours which shine in the water ...now then is it Puss or Haley that would be jealous? Brains a bit fuddled today.

Ohh OOOHHH Ohhhhh Ive just finished opening my Christmas presents I got the bestest bestest present ever!!!!

A record player that links to my pc!!!! I can get all my vinyl out and put it onto cd and onto my IPOD - How fab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CDS are great but I love my Vinyl but stereo was so big it went in the loft a few years ago and I've had nothing to play my records on. To have them on my IPOD is like all my birthdays and Christmases at once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
