i have just been to see my mums old neighbour Flo who is 93yrs i take her a little present every year and she in turn buys us a little thing, much against my wishes. But is was facinating talking to her she can recall her son (who sadley died few years ago, only child) being born during the beg of the war,she also rememeber hearing the news when she was only 4yrs old that her father was killed in the 1st world war,i could have sat there all day.Bless her now she is on her own her hubby died a year after her son and she is just waiting to join them. |
