	Errol I have checked out the website for Dorset Echo, and have read the reports. I am even more determined to help this lady in her fight. She could not bury her son for 18 months because of the legalities of the case. He was convicted of manslaughter and served three and a half years. Thanks to this mother the law was changed so that no other family has to wait that long to bury there child. If any one wants to read the reports put Dorset Echo into browser bar and go to archives, in search bar put cathy franklin. Jan x

	I agree, Jan. Although I would be interested in finding out a few more details surrounding the crime - manslaughter is such a broad term these days, isn't it? You can find out more on the Dorset Echo website. I am merely playing devil's advocate and trying to get a balance of facts and agree that sentences are cut far too short.
