We have had some heavy downpours and it is quite cool,
Rog, there is a met office warning by were you live i think..........

Well, i have been so lucky today, a chap was asking some info into his OHs great uncle, it turns out he was in the same Reg and Battalion, was killed on the same day and were buried in the same cematary in France as my G uncle, he went over there last year and took photo's.......he has emailed me them and you can see my G uncles name quite clearly...Oh i felt rather tearful when i seen them.
This man was kindness in its self - dont you think?

......actually most left with smiles on their face ,as friends brother had told her the songs he wanted when he died , the one at the end was the sex pistols not a one that he swares but it was funny ,
just could see her brother laughing at it .

I have had a email this morning from Lancashire Record Offfice,they have my GGrandads police records, he was in the force for 25 yrs !! They will charge me £10 for them and i have to sign a declaration saying i will not copy or show them. I'm well chuffed.......................YEAH
The only thing is i have run out of ink to copy the declaration so it will take a few days longer for me to get them................

It is raining and quite cool here today,

Hope things go as well as they can do for a funeral Rose.

I have found more relations in my research today, i have also been advised to write into the Liverpool Echo - the Old Pals colum, asking for anyone who knew my Dad...........i have had it okd by my sisters, so i will try this and hope it goes into print !!

Grrrr! I knew staying away from the comp all day would result in me losing out on the opportunity to grab that 100 - super well done to you Jacky :)

Hope all are well, what a mixed up day it's been weather-wise! Peg the washing out, starts to spit, leave it for now, goes off again should I take the chance - nooo raining again. Give up, put it on the airer and be doen with it. Sunshine! Damn, no just leave it where it is! The dilemmas of being a wife hey! Catching up on all the washing from hols and more beside with this great british weather - what a nightmare!
