Been mad busy in work today, how can families just up and go away leaving thier elderly relations alone is beyond my comprehension..........well, we make sure they will be cared for !

Feeling much better thankfully and hoping you are on the mend with your flu bug Rog - last thing you need is to be hit with a nasty bug.

Glad you have both had a lovely time with your family Rose and Jacky. I know how you feel about when they go home, going to be facing that next week when Joanne goes back to Ireland :( Bonus is Vicki wants to come here for Christmas dinner so I'll have ALL my girls around me :)

Rog, I always think you do well to manage to get to around 7:30 before signing off and here you are getting as late as 8:30ish, well done to you. Your body needs a rest and that's the one thing you can't ignore or argue with, Rog!

My flu bug seems to be trying to disperse, The hospital didnt have a lot to say and thought the flu bug has a lot to do with it, and please come back in a month. Huh.

My son has just gone home...i miss him already...i cant really complain as there has only been one year without him being here on Christmas day and he 30 odd yrs old now !!

Glad you enjoyed your day Rose - it will do you good being away from home for a couple of hours - if you had of stayed in, you would have only cleaned up anyway..........Lol

Rog, we are all missing you, we really hope you are ok - take care, and we hope to see you posting again soon ....keeping you in my prayers Rog.

I have all the shopping in now for Christmas, just need the fresh stuff in now, i am going for lunch on tuesday with my collegues - i need to fatten myself up, i lost 10 lbs in the last 2 weeks when i wasnt well....Argh...

Hope all are well. Loooking forward to our eldest home from Ireland on Tuesday for the week, she wants to have Leigha for the night so that will be a double bonus as Leigha will stay here :)

Feeling much the same, but then saying that so are a lot of people you talk to. I hope that away from all the coughing and sneezing kids in school will aid a speedy recovery!
