Good afternoon to all,

Never got on here yesterday, getting ready straight from school for our staff night out.

Went out for the day with Year 6 kids to a workshop called 'Making Choices' which was all about our young people and the choices they make every day especially as they move into high school that can affect their lives. Playing on the railways, vandalising property, bus shelters, buses, bricks at trains etc etc and realising the consequences of their actions. Really good. In one of the workshopes they had a couple of rappers and they worked with them to write their own raps about good and bad behaviour and the consequences of both, about not having to be part of the trends with trousers pulled down showing the tops of their undies and hoodies etc. So a very intersting day all in all and our kids were the best behaved out of the three different schools that attended. They never let us down when we're out anywhere. Superb!

Great night out last night too and bumped into my cousin - venue was Formby Golf Club so very posh with a nice five course meal and full entertainment for £35 which is probaly very good for what we got.

I think it's a birilliant idea sending christmas cards to each other but as a JW as some of you may already know, I don't celebrate Christmas so won't be involved in Christmas cards but would still like your addresses for something else instead so please PM them to me ok!

My internet went crazy before,,,,,,,,,the bar on the bottom of the screen was full, then a notice came on telling me i had 88 pages open - i did'nt know what to do, so i turned it off for an hour or so, i have just put it back on and its ok now - thought i had broken it.......

Hello all, cold day and windy today, going to get worse for the weekend.
Visited pops again this afternoon, he is doing very well, and looks more like his old self.

I used to love all the cloak and dagger stuff at Christmas Rose, even now when mine visit i tell them they can't go to the little bathroom, i have stuff hidden in the vanity unit.......Lol

And the first 1000 on this new and wonderful thread goes to Lady Jacky Santa's Marvelous helper. Last time I looked in there were fourteen to go til the new thousand and I was sorely tempted to break my own rule to get the thousand but as you can see resisted strongly. You have to lead by example you see! Well done again Jacky!

Out all day with Y6 children so it's out of school but indoors so she escapes break duty yippeee :)

Keep smiling everyone, with Jacky's little quips it shouldn't be a problem and Roger the Tonic looking after us all.

i like martini with lemon (snap)
cant drink any other spirit hate the smell and taste
can drink lager though actually prefer to stick to it , longer drink dont drink as much .
detest wine it all tastes bitter , even when they tell me its sweet , either that or my mouth is different .

As for drinking alcahol, i dont drink, stopped about 1991 and hav`nt had a drop of anything since, when i was younger i used to drink like a trooper, my wife worked as a barmaid, so free drinks, but one day i just decided no more and that was that. i can hear you say WOW
