Sarah: You know this thread is just good old banter between mainly four of us with some friends popping in and out from time to time. You are welcome to pop along and chip in any time you like and I hope you do. As Rose said, we're firm believers in early detection as both Rose and me are still around because we got checked out. Sending you best wishes, at the end of the day all of us know somebody whether close to us or otherwise. Pop in and have a chat whenever you have free time.

Hayley: I never even noticed that you called me Sue so no worries, I answer to anything :)

Rog: I really do hope your Pops is ok with his surgery tomorrow, not an easy thing to deal with but I hope he has the strength to cope and get well.

Jacky and Rose: Never wanting to leave you two out, hope you're feeling better now Rose, finally? Jacky our boys in Red did the job for us tonight hey - 5-0, lovely result.

Had a crabby day in school today, received letters about the criteria for our jobs - don't know whether I've mentioned about the school amalgamating? but if not, it means we have to apply for our jobs. We got two days notice that a meeting re this situ and should be attended by all staff and our union representative is being held on Thursday. To make the day worse, got questioned about a point of education in front of my kids that should have i) been discussed with class teacher not me and ii) shouldn't have been raised in front of the kids in the first place. And I know this will sound really bitter cos I am at the mo, all this by our 40year old live at home with mummy and daddy who go and warm her car up for her in the mornings and do all her cooking washing ironing etc for and is the laziest person in the school and laziest deputy head in the authority. Rant over! Grrrrr. Had to leave early for this computer course but will be raising the issue with her in the morning you mark my words!

Aggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh, deep breath and chill pill taken hoping for a restful sleep tonight!

Speak later,

Lyn x x x x

Hello all,
Update on Pops, he goes to theatre tomorrow for removal of his right leg, below the knee, he seems okay with it, not worried just a bit apprehensive, as i have had all this done i think i have reassured him, I just hope everything goes okay, as im sure it will.

Will have to try have a proper look at this topic when I've had some sleep. But I'm all for early detection and everything else possible but unfortunately it didn't help a rellie even though it was early.

Don't mind me... lack of sleep and the thought of going through 105 pages in this topic has bamboozled my brain lol.
