Afternoon All,

I have 3 half day rotas a year, today is one, with my usual rota day tomorrow....Yeah !!

Lovely day here, but the breeze has a chill on it.

Just mopped all out downstairs and polished, have the bedding on the line so i am making some use of my time off.
My daughter went to Egypt this am, she only booked monday - good for her, i will miss her though !!

...........i wouldn't fancy weekend work either jacky , my grandaughter who is a carer has to do it , its the only part of the job she hates .

Been rotton weather here too Rose, the heating has just gone on for an hour or two !!

I'm back in work now, our working hours are being changed and they are introducing weekend work,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i need another job.....giz a job - go on giz a job...........Lol

I can't believe Leigha's almost a year old.........i bet she is adorable !

Windy and cool here, good job i made the best of yesterday....Lol

Was'nt that fella who sang on BGT fantastic and he was soooo humble, he seemed a lovely chap.
Will we get a duet with him and Susan - i think that would be really nice - i'd be crying my leg off...............Lol

What alovely day its been again today! We took Leigha out for a walk in the sunshine today - well a push in the pram in the sunshine, she fell flat out when we got back. We're having Leigha for the night as Vicki is going out with friends and b/friend etc for her birthday on Monday. Can you believe that as we're in May it is also going to be Leigha's first birthday on 24th! Where does the time go hey?

Good morning all,

I went out to do my food shop in the sunshine, when i came out the shop it was lashing down.................

I had a call from my dentist today, she has told the professor who is involved with me about how much i am struggling, he has asked for my records and will be contacting me - hope to hear from him soon....................

Rose, dont they reckon it the best time for 1st time buyers now with the interest being so low............fingers X for you !!

Good evening my friends :)

Had a stinking cold for the last three days, but hey I'm not the only person on the face of this earth to have abad cold and I won't be the last. AND being a woman - I've not got flu!

Leigha took a couple of steps yesterday and Vicki and I danced a jig in the lounge. She stood for a few seconds before she even realised she wasn't holding on to anything. What a clever little girl we have and even though she bumped down to the floor, she got back up with her bright little smile painted all over her face.

We're off school tomorrow because we're having an 'occasional day', bank holiday on Monday and we have an Inset day on Tuesday BUT because we have had twilight staff meetings which count in the directed time for training etc none of us have to go in! Happy days! :) Then the last week of the month we're off for half term. What a life!

Off to bed now, stayed up later because I can't stop coughing and spluttering :( going to get some Vicks rubbed on and hopefully that'll help keep me breathing easy.

I rang my boss, he said for me to go back into work on tuesday, we can count tomorrow as a rota..............yipeee 4 days off now, hope the weather picks up for us all.........not sure what i will be getting up too, nothing planned !
