Good evening ladies! Finally managed to get on.

Been really busy with stuff for school post OFSTED, we were supposed to be unpacking on election day all the boxes that we had spent evenings after school packing. Guess what? Didn't happen - the new school isn't quite ready, there were still workmen in doing snagging jobs around the school. But wow! The new school looks fantastic and I mean FANTASTIC! Our staff room is enormous, incredible.

We had Leigha for the weekend just gone, what a little dream that girl is! Mum has just bought her first pair of proper shoes for her today - sooooo cute, she sent me a pic. Good old Clarkes still fitting out children with their very first pair - ironically Vicki paid the same price I paid for her big sister's first pair 27 years ago - they were expensive then considering they're only on their feet for 4-6 weeks if you're lucky!

Sounds like the family are pleased with your decision not to move to Malta yet, Rose. As Jacky has said, you have to do what is right for you both.

How are your teeth now, Jacky? Hopefully by now they're all sorted for you?

We haven't heard from you, Rog for a long time now, i really hope you are coping Rog. Keeping you in our thoughts.

Rose, i'm glad you feel more settled in yourself, only you and your hubby know whats best...........

We were going to buy a place in India a few years ago, just to live there for 6 mths each year....................my daughter through a wobbly, she said if we were needed home, it could take us a week to get back - yes, she was right also, if one of us were taken ill, there would only have been the other with them until family could get out to us, again, she was right, so we knocked that idea on the head ...............Lol

Maybe a little nearer in a few years !!

................nathan wants to stay with us , and go to the senior school he would of gone to . soooooooooooo
........we have decided to put it off for malta until my hubby retires so i will be here another 5 to 6 years , nathan would be 16 then and i'm sure he can decide for himself where he can live .
...............we still have the house up for sale , but with the market the way it is we could be still here this time next year , we have to keep it up for at least 9 months as we get money back from hip if we dont sell by then .
..................i feel better now , as it was breaking my heart to leave him ,
didnt think it would be as hard . still a little dissappointed though was really looking forward to living in malta soon .
............................rang my son to tell him , he seems so happy about it
also the school he would have gone to told him there might not be a place for him . which i'm glad as it was a cr#p school .

You are bound to feel low now thats things are starting to take shape, always remember, Nathan can go to you in the holidays and you can come home inbetween......just like now....you will adjust in time Rose.

Hello All,

Been sorting my wardrobes out, i have got rid of 3 black bags of clothes, i can go into them now without being attacked by the clothes falling from the top shelfs............Lol

We are looking at going to the Cape Verdi Islands but we need to check out if we can have the visa's in time............daughter has hols booked at the beginning of august and beginning of september, so we need to go in about 3 wks.

Weather not to bad here, i have washed all my hol clothes, they are on the line drying now.

My daughter is coming today, she wants me to go on holiday with her (mum and daughter break) so we are going to pick somewhere together......
