Another nice day for everyone. I know what you mean Jacky about shopping companions, some are better than others.

Been a busy day and yet another lovely warm day.

Off to see my aunty tonight. We finally got her away from her daughter's and she is staying for a couple of days with my parents. They both have to go out tonight for a couple of hours so I get to keep her company and I'm thrilled that I am.

May get the chance to chat later until then take care everyone and don't forget the suncream!

Rose, as you say, it got you out for a while.

I was out at 9 30am, met my friend and went for our breakfast in BHS, went for some shopping but i soon wanted to come home,,,,,,,,,,i like to do my shopping alone or with OH, i love her to bits but she is a pain to shop with...........Lol

I got my Grandmothers cert today, i will look for her mother on the census later - she has an Irish name as well..........

Going to prepare my tea now, OH is on lates so i eat when i am hungry...........like now.....Lol

......son went to bank .we looked around wilkinsons bought some soap .....came out and they headed for his car ..........dont think he likes shopping

Back ache and pain is an awful thing to contend with, hope hubby is feeling fine soon.

Had a busy day today, got on the train with four other members of staff and 20 kids and went one stop to go down to the front to see the Iron Men exhibition of Antony Gormley 'another Place'. Kids loved it but now I'm absolutely shattered and almost ready for my bed!

Seems like it's been a busy day for you too Jacky with all that gardening and basket hanging. Hope you haven't overdone things!

We just havent had the time this year for doing the flowers, so we have bought them as we went along,,,,,,,,,Lol, but i must say they do look nice !

Hubby wasnt to good a few weeks ago, he hurt his back and was in a lot of pain, the GP had him on a concoction of tablets and he ended up in A+E with chest pains, after a night they let him home but he had to stop them tablets, then his back became very painful again,,,,,,,,,,so i have tried to do a lot of the heavy work while he is in work, he has only had 4 wks sick leave in 34 yrs................stubburn as they come he is !!! he is on light duties now.........

Anyway, i hope you are all having a nice evening !!

Another lovely day !!

I went to the garden centre and bought my hanging baskets, i have put them out and they look nice....

I have just been pottering in the garden - but i enjoyed it.

A bit of colour makes people look "well" i think Rose.

Anyway, i'm off for a shower now - i'm filthy !!!

..........went to see grandaughters house she has just been allocated off council ...very nice
bit of work it will look nice ,,nice size garden too .
.........she goes for her 20 week scan on friday
...........it only feels..she told us not long back
so she has plenty of time to get the house up to scratch. out with my paint overalls lol.

going to try and put my tree right .......found loads of mistakes on my penalunas
they were the first i did when i started about 21/2 yrs ago .........there are so many with the same name ......found i put richard as a so many gt. grandfather when it should have been robert

Hello all, Well done Lyn on your 100,
It has been a wonderful day, sunny and very hot, spent it all in the garden, all the seeds and new plants are in splendour in the now clean greenhouse, grass all cut and nice.
got to spend time tomorrow taking stuff for pops to the nursing home, not looking forward to it, he will only say i got it wrong or something. i was very surprised when they said he can have his pair of finches in his room, Oh well !!!!!!
