hi all
jacky its not really very hot up here
the north east wind is quite cold ......went to my winter jacket today .i was freezing ....some are still walking round with no coats .

...........busy day today ...cleaning house paint works and all ....want to leave it spick and span for next week for our week away at cumbria ,
only 12 more days then away for week .....doesnt seem like a year since we last went .

Hello all, hope you are all well and happy, having a day off today, done so much heavy work the last few days that i am now bushwhacked, so deserve a rest.
beautiful sunny day here again but the wind is very high, so takes the edge off the suns heat a bit, but very nice.

yes u r right the do ask alot of the kids these days. i was listening to a bit of news and some schools are stopping it all together.
I remeber when my twin sons had theirs they were terrified. ha! but they are now at uni too so i guess they turned out ok.
hope your family do well. yes they do deserve to be spoilt.

Huge congratulations to you Jacky and your daughter-in-law and your son and all your family, how wonderful! Busy times ahead worth having for sure.

Lovely sunny day, year six kids did their first SATs papers today - parts A and B of the Science. They don't half ask a lot of these poor kids but all seemed to cope quite well. English papers tomorrow and then two maths papers - they can use a calculator in one of them - and a mental maths paper then that's it done, celebrations! And boy will they deserve it. So plenty of nice fresh juice, biscuit treats and we're making toast for them in the morning. They deserve to be spoiled.

HI EVERYONE JACKI HERE. JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW MY DAUGHTER INLAW WHO HAS
CANCER. GAVE BIRTH TO MY LOVELY FIRST GRANSON ON THE 30TH APRIL.
HE WAS ONLY 5LB, BUT WAS A MONTH EARLY.
IM SO GLAD TO SAY BOTH ARE DOING WELL, AND TOMORROW SHE WILL CELEBRATE HER BIRTHDAY AND MY SONS WILL HAVE THEIRS ON WEDNESDAY, SO AS YOU FOLKS CAN C

we keep getting fog off the sea ...so makes it feel miserable .....isnt too cold though .

Rose, if you have saved all important infor on your pen and your comp still misbehaves, anti-virus has been run and found nothing, the ultimate cure is to completely reboot your comp which will mean reinstalling all the programmes you have on it. As that is quite a drastic measure, try and find something like AVG or AdAware or Norton to get rid of any gremlins. Another good one is Zone Alarm, any one of those should be able to clear any unwanted visitors!

Bit of a mixed day today though we did go out for a walk to see Antony Gormley's Iron Men on Crosby Beach and then walk back home so managed to catch a bit of sunshine but what a downpour when it happened hey Jacky!

Well, off to my bed soon. got to wash my hair in the monring and it's SATs week for the poor kids :(

Helloooooooooo,

My friend rang before, there is to be a change around at work next Monday, i am coming OUT of the hospitals...........YEAH !!!!!!!!!! and i am going on the Emergency Response.............YEAH !!!!!!!
I done this a few years ago for 18 mths and loved it, it is stressful because you only get a snapshot of the clients in thier homes, but it is so nice to bring in the help they need and hopefully - if practical, bring them back to thier original functioning ability. If this is not the case, we look towards a "home" enviroment to maintain thier saftey.

Hope all are well and happy, Rog, take a break, or you will wear yourself out in this hot weather.

..............got some lovely plants and hanging baskets today .........seemed funny buying these as hubby always brings them up by seed ....

Computer crashed again last night, i have saved all my important stuff on the pen thing, when i put it on today it came on as usual and seems to have settled a little..........hope it dose'nt do that any more.........aghhhhhhhh
