Late Lyn again! We were 'baby sitting' little Leigha last night while boyfriend took our lovely daughter out for the evening, what a dream she is! She was sooooo good and she really is chuckling away and cooing and smiling and being an absolute delight.

Weather has been so mixed up but at least Wimbledon got its finals completed. Whata game between Federer and Nadal. It would have been difficult to choose which of the two deserved to win it was such a brilliant game. One of my colleagues, she's retiring at the end of this term, told me that she loves the tennis, especially Wimbledon. So I asked her would she be watching to which she replied, well I don't understand it so I don't watch it! Haven't quite worked that one out just yet!

Anyway, back to the sweat shop with my costume sewing, my friend and I are completing the final ones that need to be made tomorrow. All the costumes that needed altering have been done finally.

Heading off to bed, already a lot later than I planned to be.

Hello friends, have just got back from dinner at daughters, very nice.
I dont think it has stopped raining since yesterday evening, absolutely pouring with thunder and lightning,
still the garden and allotment need it , so hoorah.

Hiya.........

Just popped on, had a great day yesterday, we were so lucky with the weather, went sightseeing in Liverpool, went on the ferry - it was heaving.........
Came home and washed and changed, went for a meal in the Shang- re-la, a few drinks then home.
Sons girlfriend is lovely, very level headed and pleasent, they did say at one point - my son may sell his house - girlfriend has just sold hers - both semi's and THEY will buy a detached...............i nearly choked on my drink..........Lol
Off out soon for lunch, so i will be back on later.

Good to see all are keeping well. Well done to you Jacky on your latest 100 too!

Hopefully sports day was good, the weather certainly helps. I've been set up with my sewing machine in our staff room with my friend sewing costumes for the plays we are doing next week. Really looking forward to them. We had a quick run-through yesterday and the final decades covered are the years that the school amalgamated last time in 1988 and was renamed to its current name. The period was covered by the first year infant class and I came away with more than a tear in my eye I can tell you. Our head teacher is absolutely brilliant despite the fact that when we finish in a week and a half she will have no job! The next week and a half are going to be the hardest ever and there is so much intrepidation ahead. You can imagine there's a lot of tension flying around.

Hope all are well, not working too hard and enjoying every ounce of decent weather we have had cos it's going to let us down!
