Aww, they were a smashing group of people Rose, i really enjoyed it and the venue was nice.

It has just lashed it here for 10 mins - now the sun is shineing again, funny weather !!

..............last few days weather has always been good but ended up with thunderstorms .
............was at my sisters 60th birthday last night , had a lovely time .
for a half an hour the heavens opened . one big dash into her house .

Congratulations, Rose on the safe arrival of your newest little granddaughter Abbey. Oh they bring so much joy. :)

The weather has been so hot, not sleeping at all well and then shattered in school. We are moving into our new school next Thursday and I can'[t wait. Looks like I'm going to be working in Year 6 - made up it's exactly where I wanted to be.

No more mishaps that I know of for Leigha, seems she may just be managing to keep herself out of trouble or at least Vicki is managing to keep her out of trouble!

Well, after all the hard work i done yesterday, i thought i would have had a good sleep........no, i was too hot and itchy all night....Lol

Dull and muggy here, wish we could have a storm and clear it away !!

I have been out in the front and back gardens all day, they are looking nice now, kept myself covered because i get the sun really easy but i am nervous of too much sun now.

Having my tea soon - i'm starving, i will put salt on my tea due to all the sweating today....Lol

................yesterday we had a bad thunderstorm , electric went off .
.........as usual terrified . daughter picked up the kids from school .i'm a right scaredy cat ........lol. ......today is lovely nota cloud in sky ..so maybe its done some good .
.....................exciting news ....my new grandaughter is here
..................weighing in at 8lb 151/2 ozs .......our little abbey
mother and baby doing well , nathan had a hold of her he seemed quite pleased with himself .

Goooood Morning All,

Still very muggy here but the sun is out, going to wash the front down today, the heavy rains have splashed up and the front door and garage doors have black dirty grit all over them.....if the weather holds, i mow the front garden as well.

I went to bed about 11 30 last night - not expecting to sleep....and i crashed out until 3 45....very good for me !!

Muggy, humid, hot, steamy and very close to list but a few adjectives for our current weather. How warm has it been? Sometimes warmer than Rhodes and Crete - unbelievabloe but nice!

Been iinterviewed today by our head for 'best ift' placement of school support staff for next year. We move into the new school on 9th so that the year 6 kids get their time in there before they leave. And it's all pretty hectic!

Hope to pop on again tomorrow; Busy watching tennis last night after we came home from seeing the damagle Leigha had caused with a tin of white gloss on the new lounge carpet! Good job Steve has a carpet cleaning machine and was able to get a lot more out of it than Vicky was able to do. Apparently Leigha's dad left the can lying round unconcerned as it hadn't been opened. But smarty pants Leigha managed to get the top off with her teeth - the paint was in one of those plastic pots where you pull off a tab to lift the lid off. Well, she managed to do just that and get some of the gloss on the floor and on her feet. No mistaking who it was with the paint on her feet. Reminded Vicki that now she is walking you most definitely need eyes in the back of your head!

Hiya

Been a muggy day today, i have felt really out of sorts....think this weather needs to make its mind up what it wants to do.....when it is muggy, i get pressure headaches.

I'm off to a "meet" in chester tomorrow - looking forward to it and all.

I have also booked thurs and fri off, so a nice long weekend for me !!!

Have a dentist App on monday - really looking forward to it....NOT...Lol

Looked at our holiday before and it has gone up by £139 each, glad i booked when i did.

Hello my friends :)

The weather has been lovely but I think we definitely needed a bit of rain to clear the air it has been so heavy. Had our trip to Chester Zoo on Wednesday, what a scorcher of a day. the kids and the adults loved it. I never went near the bat cave - don't do flying creatures at all - birds, bats or butterflies!

Getting closer to moving into the new school - just over a week to go. Can't wait it's so lovely and sooo state of the art.

Bet you're getting all excited about your hols, Jacky. The time will fly by and it sounds really exciting where you are going.

Telly is boring. Wouldn't be so bad if there were any tennis on today but even that has ahd a break. They're desperate to need to pull the new roof across and it hasn't rained enough to do that. Perhaps if there had been any play today they may have had the opportunity!

Michael Jackson's death is as tragic as the life he has led. He is such a victim of the fame that attracted us all to him. He has lived his life in front of the cameras and come under intense scrutiny and has now paid the consequences, sadly. There will be an outpouring of theories and claims about his personal life. The family needs to be respected and allowed to grieve for their brother. So very sad.

Quite concerned about you, Rog, we haven't heard from you for such a long time, really hope things are bearable for you

We had lovely weather here until about an hour ago, then the Heavens opened and it blew a gale - i've never know the rain so heavy, everyones gutters were spewing the rain over, and ours are the new pvc ones, they just couldnt take the speed of the water !!!
