I wish they could pay for some publicity for little Daniel Entwistle. He disappeared in May 2003 aged 7, and hasn't been seen since.

i feel they have nothing to do with where she is or what happened appart from the realisation of course they shouldnt have left the kids to start, im sure i dont need t remind them of that, theyll live with that forever,
but i feel they are inocent of any crime, some @:>? has taken that baby and needs to take responsibility for that, i hpe they find her safe, and get her back to her mummy and daddy and brother and sister,

The McCann's, according to the clauses detailed below, can use the fund in any manner they see fit to secure the safe return of Madeleine or her abductors have been brought to justice and only after all roads of enquiry etc have been exhausted can the funds be used to secure the same for other people who have missing children:

1.1.2 To procure that Madeleine’s abduction is thoroughly investigated and that her abductors, as well as those who played or play any part in assisting them, are identified and brought to justice; and

1.1.3 To provide support, including financial assistance, to Madeleine’s family.

1.2 If the above objects are fulfilled then the objects of the Foundation shall be to pursue such purposes in similar cases arising in the United Kingdom, Portugal or elsewhere.

Always good to read a story from two different perspectives before making decisions I think.

If I had relied solely on the UK media - my point of view would be vastly different to what it is now.

An open and inquiring mind is no bad thing. Though people would have you believe otherwise in this casexx

Just read it's to be centred on Portugal and Spain. Don't get that at all. The Spanish and Portugese papers are full of news about the case. Lots of coverage in France too. Let's hope the PR people are on the ball and take the campaign where it really needs to go. xx

Only those who gave to the fund have a right of complaint if they feel the fund is not being used in the context it was asked/collected for..just an observation,or logic thinking,,

I really hope their campaign bears fruit., even though I fear the child is already lost to this world.

I think the sooner this case is resolved the better.

I have, as said, my own theories, but will not post on here.

I feel that there must be CONCRETE EVIDENCE to show that this money is being spent in the manner it should be.

BUT how much more can they make people around this world aware that their daughter 'disappeared' on that fateful night of 3rd May? There cannot be a person in this world that doesn't know that. You only have to look at one of the sites set up (not sure whether it is Gerry's or not) and it shows how many people from which country have visited the site.

My only sure and certain opinion is that they should not have left their three little children alone and if they are suffering because they did, so be it. Maddie has suffered far more. This is not me saying I believe they are also guilty of the death of their daughter accidental or otherwise.

I hope the trustees of the fund make absolutely certain that it is used solely for the purpose it was set up. We should not forget that it was also stated that AFTER Maddie's campaign if there were funds still left, these would be used to find other missing children. Let's hope they leave plenty of money to do just that. I personally don't want to be walking around the streets looking at billboards of little Maddie's face, I am sure it would be far too distressing. We know that she has unique eyes, how much more do we all need to know?

Now the McCanns are complaining about the negative Media coverage and the cameras and reporters encamped outside their home in Leicestershire. But they courted the media, they have no-one to blame but themselves, if you go to bed with a tiger you cannot complain if he wants to bite you.
