Try sending up one of those distress rockets that Christine nicked from the secret Government research facility she googled when she was last on the lookout for some heavy metals for her Eastern European contacts.

I have to admit I used to go down gold, silver and tin mines too. My kids have the same fascination as me.

Hubby doesn't mind but feels a bit claustrophobic. Cave diving is out for him and I am too old to try it now.

I am a cavern and cave person cos I love the forms of naturally formed 'art'.

Visited some amazing caverns in Australia where they really know how to light the formations to both scare and inspire awe.
