The McCann lawyer was supposed to be making a statement at 11.30pm. That's what I am waiting on. I'll give it a bit longer but it's school tomo lol xx

i don't know if you have read that the mccanns were made to stay in portugal on police orders?

I've read that before but as a whole article Jet. Because of the content I will not post on here. For obvious reasons.

I have asked about the paper that printed this and have been told that it is the most widely read paper in Portugal.

My gut tells me they wouldn't print without proof. With the libel aimed at another paper fresh in the air. But I could be wrong hence my hesitation.xx

Days after the parents of Madeleine McCann said they are suing a Portuguese paper who reported they may have killed their own daughter, Kate and Gerry McCann are being interviewed once again by Portuguese police.

Kate McCann was taken in for questioning this afternoon, hours after forensic results arrived in Portugal from a lab in the UK. Gerry McCann was due to be questioned separately after his wife.

It is the second time Kate McCann has been formally questioned since Madeleine's disappearance on May 3. Arrests are expected in the next 48 hours following the breakthrough.

According to the Portuguese paper Correio da Manha, quoting unnamed police sources, the scent of a corpse has been found on Kate McCann's clothes by British sniffer dogs. The scent was also found on Madeleine's Cuddle Cat, which her mother has





carried with her ever since the four-year-old went missing.

The dog, trained to pick up the scent of corpses, became 'extremely nervous' when shown Kate's T-shirt and shorts, according to the paper. A second dog, trained in detecting blood and saliva, picked up a scent in the boot of the McCanns' rented car.

Portuguese police, having first denied that any forensic results had arrived from Britain, admitted last night that some had been delivered. Specks of blood found on the walls of Madeleine's room in the apartment in Praia da Luz have not yet been formally identified, however.

Officially, the police in Praia da Luz maintain that the parents are not suspects in the case. Investigators have said for over a month that they believe Madeleine is dead. They think that she was killed, either by accident or design, in the resort.
