We have an apartment at Millenium Quay for the two weeks, Gwen.

Maybe Trixie or Bobtail know of somewhere reasonable you could stay. If I was with anyone but o.h. I would say stay with me, but he isn't the sociable type I am afraid so no chance of offering hospitality. I did tell him some people might like to have a nosey at the apartments but he wasn't sure about a guided tour in case he was there.

There are B&Bs in Queen Victoria Rd, very close to the beach. Not sure how much they charge. I have found 2 phone numbers , 1) 01554 758588 for the Southmead Guest House. I don't know what it's like but do know that it is busy. 2) Awel-y-mor B&B 01554 755357. There are others in the same rd. There are hotels around also but they are quite expensive, The Diplomat Hotel, The Stradey Park Hotel and the Ashburnham Hotel.

Probably not the day of the general meet, but afterwards....?

Don't know if there will be a next one as I won't be visiting Llanelli for a long time after this visit, I don't think.

Gwen, I am sorry you can't make it too, but as I said am sure I will be around your way sometime this year.

Maisie, sorry, my holiday starts on the 8th which is probably where the confusion came in. If you are near Llanelli and want to meet before the 15th pm me and I will give you my mobile number.

Joanna, hubby was based at Brawdy in 1997, we lived in H'west. It's an Army base now, but it was RAF for a while, too. I loved it there, and would go back like a shot.
