Liz,
M&S shut all shops in Francais about 72 months ago,was not a happy bunny. Hoping M&S will start posting abroad soon. Poss a C&A or BHS at Calais but too far for a day trip.
Still, all bought up until ,in 9 days , will again visit UK for a joining of a pair of pals to pass rings to digit on hand that is not right !!! --that was hard !

Good morning all...

I am not on form today
Jill - M & S not in Calais?
Is it only in a city such as Paris?

B - It is an addiction you will find
To D and her conundrums it will bind.

Mo - Your rhyming words are good fun
Always containing a witty pun.

Gwyn - Our Lancs sky isn't sunny today
Will think of you and grandson at play.

Just thought - Did you own Rup*rt books with rhyming words?

Liz

I am so glad that Bibliomaniac and also a lot of you can join in this fun and try rhyming without a symbol that this conundrum forbids. I can also do word writing in addition to rhyming writing, that is why I am composing this tract in ordinary words and not in any form of rhyming stanza. Carry on in this good work and mayhap a continuation of this puzzling and difficult word and rhyming composition can last until Christmas.

Good luck with dolphin spotting Gwyn

Jill, glad you had lots of hugs with grandson, I am a funny colour now, I look as if I am a lawn ;-)))

Lots of sun in this county across from Calais.....light clouds too though.

Grandson and I will go dolphin-spotting at our local coast.A dolphin swims locally for many months now.
Hoping to spot him today.

That is so good not using that symbol, I wouldn't know how to start doing that. Dull morning today so far. All good fun, Jon and Suzi.

Good morning to you all

Liz, snowdrops bring a hint of spring, I think, I too am partial to that bloom

My posy on that day I did marry had a bloom that contains 'that' symbol (sounds similar to a cow that starts with an F).

Hi all - May I ask which plant or bloom is your fav?

My own: pansy, snowdrop and that bloom known for rambling....

To Mr B I'm truly thankful
I can do a short bit
without having my brain full

Mr B, I think you did start a fashion
folks adding in stanzas is now a passion
Mo and Kitty, and Liz also
no way that I can stop this flow

My dog has just had a circuit of our local woods and I am drinking a cup of cha, soon to start to iron all sorts of things, not a job that fills a soul with joy
;-((

Hi all:

Writing on this is such a joy!
For my brain to work, it is a ploy.

I'm off now to walk with a pal
Up on top of my local hill....

Don't worry Mo
You'll bloom and grow
I'm still a rubbish cook
You know!

Oh God assist us, it won't stop,
Miss D says carry on,
So I must do what Miss D says,
OK I'll go along

With your conundrum I will stay
I trust that is not bad
For it is hard to stop this fun
D - you must think I'm mad

Dee the Bibliomaniac

Dee the Bibliomaniac Report 29 Aug 2007 13:06

I think, B*rnard, it is not I who should stop this flow of words; to spoil fun and frolics is not my plan.

If folks should not add, I would not justify it staying, but till such a day is on us, this tortuous brain-numbing strand of words will stay

♥ Kitty the Rubbish Cook ♥ Report 29 Aug 2007 12:52

I'll try to put words in a row
That will, as writ, go with a flow
I don't know if I can although
I think I will , I can you know!!

thank you

xx

Another rhyming block of words
From Mr.B today
I want you all to try again
Composing words this way

Its not too hard, just work your brain
And words just start to flow
And on the PC plonk away
For rhymings you can show

Don’t think of syntax or of grammar
Or nary right and wrong
Just carry on composing words
That sound OK in song

For rhyming is just words you know
As in any common ditty
So grab your PCs all of you
Bob, Paul, Sally and Kitty

And Harry, Jason, John and Jack
And girls who can do rhyming
Come on Joan, Amanda, Joy,
And Barbara, go miming

But D, you bibliomaniac
What can you think up now
This conundrum can’t go on
You must take your bow

This has had a smashing run
For days, almost a fortnight
But now an hour’s arriving
To finish now – that’s forthright.
