I have a request for anyone who knows of the people and history in the general vicinity of Eromanga, Queensland. I wish to know the name of an aboriginal (Murri) man who lived or stayed with Elizabeth Hislop/Davies/Heilbronn around 1900. She was known as a midwife and healer in the area and had a large family. Due to the fact that indiginous people weren't recorded on the census I must rely on local knowledge. Any information, however scanty, will be appreciated Thankyou, Rosemary Hislop |
