THE MIDDLE NAME FIELD NEEDS TO BE SORTED OUT, AS WHEN ENTERED IT DOES NOT SHOW, AND IN GENEALOGY A MIDDLE NAME IS OFTEN A VERY IMPORTANT SIGNIFIER. AS AN EXAMPLE, MY FATHER WAS WILLIAM RONALD LOCKETT BUT BECAUSE HIS FATHER WAS ALSO WILLIAM, HE WAS KNOWN BY HIS MIDDLE NAME RONALD ALL HIS LIFE. Therefore there needs to be some way of indicating in the name field whether the person was known by their first given name or their middle name and both names need to show up on the tree . In the meantime I am putting mine both in the forename field with the name by which they were known in capitals. Best wishes for an otherwise great site Sue Taylor MA Dawlish Devon
