Have managed to trace my family tree back to the 1700s but have a 'black hole' around 1894 when, due to death and a second marriage, two children, John Percy MELLOR and Elsie Nadin MELLOR, born to my grandfather's first wife, disappeared. We presume that after their mother's death, they returned to live in Dorset with her family after their father (my grandfather) John Mellor returned to India with his regiment. We have searched all records we can think of. Does anyone out there have any knowledge of them through their own searches? |
