Hi GC, just a reminder that I haven't had an answer to my question about searching different Surname spellings. For example I have 9 different spellings in 12 generations, and even after hunting through 9 Trying to find Boards, there is always the possibility that all the information I am seeking is hidden away under another different spelling which I hadn't even thought about. Another name I have is Cockbone. This in time became Cockburn, but not in my tree. Why can't I post a message onto the Cockburn or Coburn Trying to find Boards? Please take this as constructive criticism. I think this has the makings of a great site, and wish good luck to all of you in your searches, especially those who are trying to locate a parent. Jim |
