Gladys, Click on Name Summary on left of your home page which should take you to names in your tree, showing how many new ones have been added in however many days it shows at the top. You can adjust this to whatever you wish. It should show in red on the right of the names how many changes have been recorded. Click on there and you should get the new names and relevant e-mail contacts. Hope that makes sense, Good hunting, Beryl. |

I'm new at this so I expected not to be lucky, so imagine my surprise when I got an e-mail saying that 17 names had been added to my list. So, I went looking, all I saw were the ones I added which were me, my Mum and Dad. So, how does one get to see the 17 new names that have been added? Anybody help me? Have a go at posting some of your surnames on this site. It has helped me connect with two 'cousins', one from NZ who is coming to UK in August and we are hoping to meet up. www.users.on.net/proformat/engnames.html |

Thanks, Ladies, and Theresa I have the opposite problem in some ways. I have identified at least 33 different ways of spelling my, not too uncommon, Surname, and 9 of them already appear in my tree. So I have a lot of names where mine are allegedly the only ones on the tree. Oh if only I could lump the different spellings together. Jim |

I am so glad to see that I am not the only person who has yet to find a connection. I am still very new to this only started a few weeks ago. I suppose that with only 60 entries and 17 surnames I will have be very lucky to get a connection. I thought that I had a connection and emailed the contact - as yet no reply (hope you read this Phillip!!!). However, I am not giving up....yet! Tracy, Brotherton, Yorkshire |

I have been really lucky. Within a week of registering I had a message from a lady (thank you Lynn), with information about my gran, who I never knew. Her grandad and my gran were brother and sister. Between us we have gathered quite a bit of information. Just keep entering those names and I'm sure you will be lucky soon!! Maggy, Featherstone, West Yorkshire. |

The times I get a hit the people concerned dont reply or I have more info on their ancestors than they do. Dont be disheatned you Know what they say about research "If you arent getting more questions than answers you arent doing it properly" |

I am frustrated. I have 164 names on my tree. Every day I look at the tips board. I can't believe it's possible that with so many entries none of mine are there. It seems that the same gremlin who guides Camelot into consistently missing my Lottery Numbers is at work here. Still I will keep on trudging on. Does anybody know if it is possible to get counselling for Genealogy Addiction? Jim. Gosport. |
