Ooooh Ruth, that's a good one! I do agree though that the way surnames are listed need revising-but as already said, the site is in it's infancy and can't be expected to run before it can walk. Well done ALL at GC! Colette Rogers |

You could maybe bypass this problem by temporarily creating a fake relative with the surname who want to access. Or is that too naughty? |

I have just posted a note asking for basically the same thing - a phonetic search on the names that we enter in the "search" box. I think it would be a great help to us all. |

Dear GC, While you are considering extra message boards, can I repeat my plea for a full alphabetical list of all the Surnames on the site? It would help us to identify mis-spellings of our Names, and also perhaps give us a chance to enter "Trying to Finds" on Name Boards where we do not currently have a "name" but are actively seeking it.
