This needs a shove up to the top so here it is. Yes Liz, I'm game if you are we could travel together. All we need now is the venue confirmed and of course the all important date. Janet |

Another quick shove. Laurie, if you can get a train to Bromsgrove, you might have to change at Birmingham New Street as some trains don't stop, I could pick you up. Not had the info off Webbs yet, will get back again when I have. Ros |

Hiya Liz, Janet, et al! Good thing this was given a nudge up - I had forgotten it was a possibility - the suggested venue when last I looked was way out of East Anglia and my area and thus was not feasible for me. Birmingham is a bit of a long haul too - but not impossible. So much depends on weather, and whether enough of us want to meet up. Rosi Colchester, EastAnglia/South East! |

Hi, Another shove up. What's this about an Italian student?!! Laurie |

Hi luvly liz - the dishy Italian stuud. will have gone by then I imagine - but there may be another- mind you the one that came shortly before last Crimble was not in the 'dishy' category! It might be quite fun to have a before or after family shindig in an adjacent Post House or sumfink - but I have yet to sell the idea to an unsuspecting 'im downstairs'. How about Watford? Mary Mary might live up to her name? |

Hi Liz, Rosi et al, Liz - hands off Rosi's dishy students - your married my girl - leave them for your mother. Be great if you could make it Rosi, it would be nice to see you - is it again? Can't remember after all these years I know that brother of yours took me to some family meetings. Definately bring dishy student. Anyone any idea of place and time yet? |

Laurie - I teach English as a foreign language on a 1-1 basis from my home via an Agency. They live in for an average of 3 weeks, and are often Italian and military - and dishy! As it is a 'total immersion' course they are likely to accompany me/my family most places (graveyards, record offices!!) so a family or GC reunion may well be on the cards! Rosi |

A hefty shove up from me too. I don't know how to do delicate nudges! |

Having had a closer look at the map- rather than think in 'that's about 2 hours driving' terms - well, there is no way that Birmingham is anywhere near East Anglia - why on earth did I think it was! - and I will have to cry off. If anyone can make Cambridge - or even Norwich- I'm cooking with gas - but it doesn't seem very likely right now! Liz & Janet -but we darn well will have a fambly get together afore long - that's a promise - and another aside to Janet - I'm afraid I dunno whether we have met before or not - but yes - it is a definite maybe!! This was a fairtly prolonged but unfortunately negative nudge methinks! Rosi |

Hi Rosi, You got my hopes up and then dashed them!! Another gentle shove. I could do Cambridge, my sister lives in a little village called Stilton just off the A1. I would need to check out the trains for Bromsgrove, is it anywhere near Redditch or am I going the wrong way? Laurie |

Yes, Bromsgrove is about 20 mins from Redditch, but I think the train service to Bromsgrove is better. Ros |

Laurie - I am sorry to have dashed your hopes - but a Birmingham meet for me is just not on the cards alas. Birmingham for you (assuming you are in the Redditch/Bromsgrove area) is a lot closer than Cambridge tho. I lived in Kiddi for about 6 years a good few years ago, when I was young! - so my geographic knowledge is less sketchy. Maybe best to forget the East Anglian bit of the proposed gathering and, this year only, make it West Midlands. Rosi |

Hi Louise, this is open to anyone interested, I don't think any of us have met yet, where are you from? I am from Redditch. Ros |

Its a shame East Anglia isnt proving more popular. If it had been anywhere near Norwich i would have jumped at the chance of a get together, being a local girl. Maybe next time.........? Yvette |

Louise - it is certainly open to any one interested - I think the only thing that is in doubt is whether the suggested 'meet' is in Anglia or Midlands. It looks likely that it wil be midlands, which may rule out a person or two - me included - but an anglian meet wd be excellent. But you've read the messages- you know.! Rosi |

Thanks for answering me, i live in Leicestershire, this may sound stupid but to cover the midlands and east anglia would Lincoln or Norfolk be suitable, however i'm not that good at geography so might be way out |

Louise/Yvette, Is Cambridge well out of the question for you? It is in East Anglia, and isn't he Midlands or the Sarf East - and just might fill the bill. To make it worth while we probbly need to be at least 5 or 6 of us but..... Rosi PS. Liz/Janet - fret ye not - our 'meet' will come! |
