Discovered this site today and have at last decided to start tracing my both sides of my family Kitchener and Spears, which should be fun, because I don't at this moment know either of my grandmother's maiden names, or dates of birth and deaths for amy of my grandparents as they are now all gone. So I have a few calls to make to my dad for some help. When I have the basic info, any suggestions on what I should do next. Lorraine Miller :) |

The best advice I can give to a beginner is this: Write everything down! The information you get AND where you got it from. Don't believe everything you are told, but check with the appropriate records. Many families have stories and traditions which don't stand up to scrutiny. Best of luck with your Quest.
