Sorry if I'm raking up an old complaint here but does anyone else find it somewhat irritating that when you start a new topic, your initial message is not formatted whereas subsequent message replies are formatted. For instance, after my last full stop, I've pressed the return key twice to start a new paragragh, however everyone else cannot see this as the blank line is removed and everything is bundled into one paragraph. However, if someone adds a reply, any blank lines that they've added are not removed from their message. By removing the formatting, it makes things like look-up requests harder to read. Andy.

Hi Andrew, Not just me then. I find it extreemly annoying that you can't format a topic properly. As you can see as well, it can be done in the reply so why not in the original. Janet

I use W98 at home and W95 at work. If I recall correctly the formatting problem only affects W95 in my case.

Hi again, I use Windows ME and it certainly happens in that. But why should the version of Windows you use make any difference to the fact that you can format a reply on the Tips Board or Guest Book but not when you write the original topic? Doesn't make sense to me. Janet

My computer has Windows 98 installed so it's not a problem that's just restricted to Windows 95. Andy.
