Ray, I think the nearest parking might be Bedford Road Car Park. http://www.upmystreet(.)com/map?l1=GU1+4PX Crista |

Ray, Main meals range from £7.45 for Rump Steak, Salad & seasoned Chips to £4.95 for Chile Con Carne, Chips & Rice. They have Vegetarian options. I will try to get the menu to She to post on her board and it would help if those who can would let us have their order in advance. I did say about 30 - 40 of us. Final details to be given a few days before the event. There are several car parks nearby, including two at the Railway station, but avoid the one right outside the George as it is Permits Only Monday to Friday. Basically, everyone will make their own arrangements to pay for their meal, and any drinks they require. the George Abbott are quite happy for those who wish to stay and mingle to do so. Jim |

Hi all. I have identified an excellent Pub with Grub. The George Abbott, 7-11 High Street, Guildford. Date Wednesday 3 Dec 12 0'clock for Lunch at 1 At the very bottom of the High Street, next to the River Wey, and within spitting distance of the Railway Station. They will fence off the no smoking area for us, although maybe some of us may have to spill into the main Bar/Restaurant. After the meal they will clear away the tables so we have somewhere to mingle. Comments please.
