is ancestry.co.uk subscription worth it?

Jayne, If you are talking about an annual subscription it will cost more than £82 because they don't mention the tax in their advertisements. I couldn't get any further in my tree using Family Search or FreeBMD so I subscibed for 3 moths at a cost of over £30 and I won't be renewing my membership. I have found nothing that haven't found on free sites. Most of my research is centered in Sussex which is barely covered in Ancestry. The 1891 census is handy to have and London BMD's are plentiful but I don't feel I have had my money's worth from the site. Pam
