Hi Russell and Jayne It seems like the information is from the death certificates, but how do they decide who to put on the site? My Mum died in Sutton, Surrey and my Great Uncle in Merton, London. Maybe they just pick certain areas? Sue |

Hello Sue All the deaths seem after the 1980s, my Aunty is on it but not my dad,,,,,it is intriguing me! |

Hi Russell My Mum was also under her married name. She died in 1997 as did the Great Uncle I found. I tried looking for my Grandparents who died in 1969 and 1984 and my Dad who died in 1987, but no listings for them at all. I've been looking for names of friends relatives, parents etc on the site since I first posted this but have found no-one else. I think I will try to e-mail the site by registering on it. I'm a bit dubious about doing that though. Sue |

I'm finding this a bit freaky, it has got my mum's birth and death date, but under her married name. Admittedly I have made her details available on the internet, but under her maiden name, and this lists her under her married name. |

I have just tried this site a few times by either copying and pasting the address or by typing it in and I either get a page full of error descriptions or a picture of some trees!! |

I was just surfing the net and was directed to the site www(.) webfamily(.)org(.)uk. I was just putting in some names from my tree (as you do)to see if anything came up, and came across a listing for my mother giving her dates and places of birth and death. I didn't put this info on this site, how did it get there, and why just my mother's details? The only other relative I could find was a Great Uncle whose surname is different from my mother's. I couldn't find anything on the site stating where the info came from. Has anyone else had dealings with this site? Sue |
