Just had to share this with everyone. I've made a connection to my family tree. I am in contact with a gentleman called Scott in the USA who is a descendant of my Greenley family. My 3 x great Grandfather was his 3x great Granfathers twin brother, making us 5th cousins. He has been researching the Greenleys both in England and the US for several years and has been able to supply me with an unbelievable amount of information including old photographs, a letter from our 4 x great Uncle to one of his brothers, obituaries, and a list of descendants as long as your arm! Unfortunately, I didn't make this connection through GC, (I replied to a posting he put on a Rootsweb message board) but without the help of all you lovely people on here, I wouldn't have been able to trace my family back far enough to make the connection. So thank you everybody who has helped me. A very excited Jeanette |

Well done Jeanette. Isn't it great when you get a connection. I've found most of mine from the Rootsweb or Ancestry lists too, although I've also had a couple of successes from GC. Sue |
