Hi Marly- I was next door in the Leisure Centre as my daughter was competing in the Western Cheerleading and Dance Competitions ( her team came Ist and 2nd!)- Luckily we went by coach as parking as you say looked impossible- dropped in at the Fair in my lunch break- difficult to know where to start though- but at least managed to get a phone no for my grans Muller orphanage in Bristol. Chatted to several stall holders- they had not heard of Genes C!! Hope you found something useful. |

Hi Monica, Well done to your daughter. The Orphanage you spoke of was turned into a college. I used to go swimming there when I was at school. There was talk of the college closing, but I might have got that wrong. Casualty is also filmed on the site. I once went met someone who had some connection with the orphanage. He was saying that the children never really went without things that money could buy as businesses always donated generously. Obviously this could not make up for the loss of their parents. Jill |
