Paul's on about football pitches in Wycombe ,it's that long since i saw a match there ,it was Wanderers home ground [Loakes Park]which was swallowed up by Wycombe hospital where i used to work.I think someone told me that their new pitch was Sands way ,but i don't know if that's true or not. I think i will be in the area around march when i will be seeing some of the rellies in Chipping Norton,i will probably park up in wycombe somewhere and have a good walk around the town for old times sake. Glad to hear you are feeling somewhat better Gaynor,i'm good.and feeling tons better.Fred.ptfg. |

lol yes Gaynor, my little neice was born two weeks ago and poor Mum and Dad have virtually cancelled Christmas this year. That'll teach them to move miles away in Scotland where no one can help out (phew!) Sheila |

Paul, shame the pitch isn't flat and then have an 11 foot drop - could get rid of all those actors on the field in one hour. :-)) Football- kick the ball, fall on the ground and cry while pretending to be in agony and point to one of the men on the other team. Then get up like a spring chicken, limping when you remember you are supposed to be hurt. Kick a ball in between the post things at the end and run around the field with your jumper over your head. |

Good morning all Gaynor... well I do apologise. I just HATE arriving unannounced so to speak. Next time I'm in the area I'll call you beforehand... promise. Oh and thank you so much for the card... As for Wycombe's pitch... no idea, not been there. Quite a few "village" teams have a bit of a slope... my teams pitch drops a little from one end to the other. I'd never seen anything like this though... 11 foot drop from one side of the pitch to the other !! As for rugby ? PAH ! grab the ball, run 3 yards, get tackled, start again. rubbish ! Paul |

HI Susie, you'll be very welcome - bring your own antidote for my cooking though, I'm running low here LOL. Just opened one of Alan's letters (I know!! but I did have his permission). He's on the shortlist for an interview with the local college for an IT instructor. Fingers crossed. |

Good morning everybody - especially Gaynor :-)) Paul :-)) Sheila :-)) Len :-)) Fred :-)) Susie :-)) Gaynor, babes is due on the 1st Jan but nor sure if she's going to make that date - she's enormous. Bobby sends licks and heavy breathing (he's just been out for a run). Paul, isn't Wycombe football pitch on the slant as well? I have no sympathy with you though - fancy going to football, you should have gone to rugby (a proper game)!! LOL Sheila, if we ever meet we might just recognise one another - you never know :-)) Len, good idea for the wine being on prescription but then again Alan makes his own wine so it's always flowing here. Fred, yes I remember it seemed magical around Wycombe when I was a kid. Loads of lights everywhere. And was it Murrays that had Father Christmas? Susie, how's Terry's job going now? Don't suppose you've ever delivered a baby? If you have would you like to come for Christmas dinner LOL And tomorrow, ** years ago, I was in Wycombe having my own baby. It was snowing and bitterly cold. |

Good Morning Susie, Fred, Trish, Paul, Len and Sheila, Susie – I agree with Fred, get those sniffles out of the way in time for crimble – and whatever you do – don’t send them 10 miles down the road !!! Fred – how’re you doing? Hope, like me, that you’re getting better and better as each day passes by. Of course, haven’t got the memories of Bucks that you have as Rob and I have only been here for six years - but a lovely six years. Trish – long time no speak. Hope you and Alan are fit and well. The baby can’t be that far away now – Granny Trish lol – but you will enjoy it so much. Oh – mustn’t forget the dog (lick, lick). Paul – PAUL – AMERSHAM!!!! – I can’t believe that you were that close and didn’t pop in for a visit. As Susie says – it’s only down (well, up for us) the road – probably closer to us than Susie. Hmph !!!! Next time eh? Promise? Len – cold isn’t the word for it!!! For the past few days during day time, our thermometer outside hasn’t managed to get higher that 2 degrees – brrrrrrrr – hope it gets warmer soon. Can’t believe that we are just about the coldest part of the UK at the moment. Sheila – again , long time no speak – hope all is well down at the seaside. To All – have a lovely Christmas and New Year Love and hugs Gaynor xxxxx |

In case i forget ,Merry christmas to High Wycombe ,and all you wonderful people in it ,i miss you .Fred.ptfg. |

Its jolly cold in Stokenchurch tonight. Not quite freezing, though. However, I've got roses and primroses in bloom as well as the more seasonal plants. Its time we could get red wine on prescription. Len |

Hi Sheila :-)) I used to love going past that - I remember my mum always used to stop for a while so I could have a look. It seemed enormous to me at the time but it's probably quite small really. |
